If you never took a real physics class like me, this class will be hard. I thought it would be a lot like my high school physics so I didn't read the book at all and it hurt me on the first two exams. He has a really soft voice and can put you to sleep easily, but overall he's a cool guy, but not who I would pick for a class that is already boring.

I didn't care for his class. I don't think that it is his fault, just a crappy Freshman course. They simply didn't explain physics in the way that I was used to, he often did thing way to complicatedly. I did better when I slept through his class and relied on high school physics. Still don't think he is a bad teacher, just hated the class.

Great teacher. Made class fun and interesting. Involved the students in the lecture and applied theories to real life examples. Uses iclickers making attendance mandatory, but not really. I would recomend doing the readings and going to class though. I didn't and had a hard time.

Great instructor. He's very energetic and enthusiastic about his classes, helpful if you ask, tests what he teaches, and has very clear and well planned lectures. Demonstrations keep your interest and help with comprehension. Downsides: You WILL need to read the book and keep up, and the large class sizes means help should be sought after class.

I had him for PH2100. He did a really good job lecturing and made it really fun with all the demonstrations. Overall he's a great teacher. It's just hard to teach a class of 300 students. Make sure you keep up in the book.

Great teacher! Pay attention to him during lecture and you WILL understand the concepts. But you have to do practice questions outside of class. Jaszcsak is great at explaining the material so you actually understand it. Best physics prof at Tech.

EASIEST teacher I've ever had. Actually makes physics interesting. Uses participation questions on exams--SO REMEMBER THEM. Exams are super easy, sometimes tricky, but if you know whats going on you will definately get an A on all of them. Mastering Physics questions are really difficult but if you can do those then you're golden for the tests.

Great teacher!!! Lets face it Physics I isn't easy. He does a great job of teaching the material but if you don't work hard you're screwed in this class. I wish he taught Physics II I'm stuck with :cough: gagin :cough: a real crappy professor.

Awesome teacher! get him for any class. Very energetic, you can tell he's excited about physics. Makes classes fun, and lets students participate in demonstrations. Mastering physics was pretty simple if you use the learning center, and he will personally walk you through any problem you cant figure out. A1 professor for sure
