Comment:

While Mills is an easy enough prof in class, he is an awful advisor. Twice I had to redo my schedule after meeting with him because he had me taking classes that would set me back TWO SEMESTERS. He also agreed to write an LOR for a friend of mine, only to never answer his email. Steer clear if hes your advisor.

Comment:

Dr. Mills was an amazing professor! He is very funny and extremely intelligent. He knows what he is talking about and always has a way to relate it to his many life stories. Lectures were super interesting. The online quizzes can be challenging so be careful with that. But, you have unlimited attempts so you can pass them. Challenging but worth it.

Dr. mills is a JOKE of a professor. His online content is wrong, he doesnt email you back, he doesnt fix his own mistakes, and makes your grade suffer for it. Highly recommend saving yourself from stress and aggravation. Doesnt even show up to office hours. Beyond terrible teacher.

Dr. Mills is a great professor. All assignments are online, except for the final exam. He takes attendance on random days and has a little quiz to fill out after class to prove you were there. MANY extra credit opportunities

His tests and quizzes are online except for the final exam which are just the quiz questions repeated. What you learn in class and from the book is most likely not on the exams or quizzes. Don't waste your money on the book. Only takes attendance first few weeks. Super funny guy and super easy class

Gives online quizzes and exams which are very difficult. What he teaches in class is never directed related to the questions you are asked on the quizzes/exams. You're encouraged to buy a book which I only used once or twice because it wasn't useful. Overall a great guy but really needs to remake the quizzes and exams he made.

Professor Mills is great. His exams are very difficult, but you are given two attempts per exam. He tells funny stories a lot and his class is overall very interesting. If you are interested in taking a psychology course, take Mills!

He has been my favorite professor so far. Very experienced in different fields of psychology and has real life stories to tell on different areas you're learning about. He is great at explaining things and helps as much as he can. Although, tests are hard so studying is a must.

Dr. Mills is a great professor. He takes time to answer your questions if you're genuinely confused. His tests can be pretty challenging if you don't study/attend lectures because sometimes he'll introduce new terms and ideas that aren't on the slides he puts online.

I really liked him. He gave lots of examples when teaching about a subject and had no problems answering any questions the class had to ask. He cares a great deal about his students and he is a very nice guy. The book is important for his class and his lectures were based off of the book. Overall I loved his class.

Currently taking psych101 with Dr. Mills. I believe he is an amazing professor but it is almost impossible to score good on tests. He gives really give curves which saves me every time. I would definitely recommend him. Other than the tests his class is very smooth. Just go to class every day, study and make sure to do the assignments online.

Dr. Mills is an exceptional professor. I have never had an issue with communication between myself and Dr. Mills. He wants you to learn the material in an impartial manner, which is important to know for this field of study. I wish I had more time to take additional classes taught by him.

Dr. Mills is a really awesome guy and a good professor. He is definitely really smart in the field and has a lot of experience that he incorporates into class. He is picky about answering emails, and the tests arent bad as long as you show up and study. You have online chapter assignments. He gives good curves too. Definitely would take again.

I'm sure Dr. Mills is a nice person/professor. I would not recommend taking him online though. He never responds to emails, and take the whole class (five weeks) to grade simple things such as discussions and assignments. His material makes learning easier, but if you want the one on one with a professor, don't choose him for online at least.

He is a pretty good professor. I was looking for other psych classes he teaches to take him again. Gives extra credit every test and I've gotten above a 100% on one of the exams. He has reviews before every test which is vital to go to.

Mills is a really interesting guy that knows his stuff. He is so kind and always remembers his students. He does go a little fast sometimes but he's more than happy to help you further understand. He gives good curves and extra credit because tests are pretty tough. Study, do extra credit and come to class!
