Professor Vidarte is one of the smartest and most interesting people I've ever met. He doesn't appreciate everyone and if you get on his bad side good luck. He's got a weird sense of humor and tells bad jokes, but his intelligence and grasp of history is amazing. I was sad when I finished my last class bc I had taken all the classes he teaches. He has students watch discovery channel shows during class and I found him to be very generous with assignments and tests.

I have to say that I am in agreement with other students comments. Classes consist of movies. In my humble opionion, the man is simply dissillusioned by the attitudes of many of the students at ECC. I think that he has given up trying to convey anything meaningful in a venue where most of the people just don't care. He is a brilliant man,though

This guy is like Hitler! He's all about respect and dont question any of his policies. Aside from the stick up his ass, the class is very easy. It's extremely boring but bear with it and you will get a good grade. All you do is watch videos every class. Vidarte needs to retire !

Looks like the alien from "Mac & Me". Easy A if you show up. The whole class is to watch taped videos. Different courses, he still shows the same videos. Boring. Makes cringe worthy jokes about ****es all term and no one laughs. go out 4 a drink

The 20th Century European history class is NOTHING but History channel videos. This guy has first hand priviledged knowledge,(father was a high ranking Spanish official during WWII)yet all you do is watch TV.Very easy A,big waste of time if you have cable
