Comment:

Very straightforward teaching style. Teaches loudly (but not uncomfortably so) and energetically. Workload gets heavier as semester goes on, but manageable. Tells some pretty good jokes/stories occasionally. Is busy so seldom available besides classtime, but will answer any questions about homework/projects during class. Dr. Kim is a favorite.

Passionate, high-energy guy with a lot of knowledge. Easily the most interesting professor I have ever had. Even with his accent, I still feel like I learn the most from his classes.

Comment:

Best professor I've ever had. He seeks to know his students personally and help them through college. Incredibly passionate about his classes, and keeps his lectures incredibly interesting. Goes fast, but his enthusiasm and energy makes you become hyper as well. "we don't go 40mph, we don't go 60mph, we go 100mph. We go Kim-Speed!"

okay at teaching. speaking english isnt his strong point. encouraging prof to engineering students and has well astablished priorities. good office hours. very willing to help. pay close attention to due dates. labs are long. we got out of class late rather than early everyday.

Taking Dr.Kim is an interesting experience.He is the most high energy, sporatic person I have ever met,and that can make him a little difficult as a professor. His accent takes some time to get used to, and he doesn't always explain things in the easiest way; however, the guy really does care and will do whatever it takes for you to learn if asked.

Frustration - He will be a great teacher after a few years of practice, but he doesn't have it down yet. He is highly unpredictable. He wants to help the students, but needs to get a life and take care of his family. He does not answer questions well.

Cool Prof!!! Takes him a while to remember students names... He's really funny and sometimes just borrows student's bikes to take a ride around the loop!

Cool teacher with a sense of humor and fun personality. Good teacher when he uses his own handouts- but sometimes uses 'monkey-work' sheets from Graff and Liefer which are just stupid repetitive non-thinking wastes of time.
