I struggled through this class but my perserverance paid off. This is not an easy class to partake in. I did learn alot. Don't play in this class or you are doomed! I think this teacher should be more srtict on lateness and absemces, no excuses!

Judy is a top notch professor very much into her profession. Extremely intelligent and compassionate about her work. This class is hard but possible to pass. Mostly note taking so be prepared. I enjoyed this class immensly!

This class was hard for me but I stuck it through. The majority is all note taking which is the only info. you have for your journals. Dont miss any classes. Pay atention. Dont be late for class. Hand your work in on time ! This is your education. Work to do well in it. Suceeding or failing, it's simply up to you. This class was awsome !

She is quite possibly the worst teacher I have ever had. She is terrible and thinks that she knows everything there is to know about film but in reality she doesn't know half of what she preaches.

she did seem a tiny bit out there, but was always nice to me,kind of a tough grader. we only had a midterm film journal, final journal, and a final test(wasn't anything surprising) but with the journals i deff recommend writing the response to each film right after you watch it rather than a few days before its due....hard to remember everything

She's a nutty one alright, but she's all about the class she teaches. Be on her good side. Think comments about films seen through and through. She's wild about interpretation and details, so work hard on the summaries the first time, and go for the A. It is possible to pass with this teacher, just pay attention to what she's saying...

i think she is a tough teacher, but only because she makes you think, and work. Plainly and simply, if you are willing to work, and apply your self you will enjoy Judy as a professor. If you think life is all about doing as little as possible to get by, then ur fuct in her class. over all she is a really good teacher, and will teach you alot.

This lady id the most dramatic teacher ever. She brings personal problems to the room amd talks behind students backs to others students. The only reason I'm still there is cause I know how to handle her. She loves smiles and affirmation thats shes a good teacher. Avoid her at all costs. She will make you want to kill somebody.

Judy can be completely insane. Don't disagree with her in your papers, unless you can really, really back it up, and definately go to any extra credit. She can be a bit overpowering at times, and will definately wave a filmstrip at you while screaming about how film is superior to digital. Don't worry, she's mostly harmless. Just tell her how much you liked Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and mention Tim Burton.

Even though she is CRAXY!! It Delivers like anything!!! Its soo fun just to sit back and watch her unfold and fall apart infront of ur eyes! I had her last semester for another cinema class and i didn't like it until the end and this class is pretty much the same soo far and its gonna get better!!!!
