Comment:

Shultz is a great professor but she is so unclear it hurts your grade. She is the most unorganized professor I've ever had. Im glad I graduate and wont have to take her again. She gives so much pointless work and you do not learn one thing about event planning in that class. I would not recommend her as a professor

Comment:

Her interpersonal class was awesome. She found a way to keep every lecture interesting and she tried her best to make sure we were prepared for tests. Definitely a prof who cares about her students. There was an online textbook where we completed reading and quizzes weekly for points. Then there was a midterm final and final paper. Very easy A.

Comment:

Grades attendance and uses an online textbook that tracks reading and online quizzes. Two exams- mid-term and final, and one term paper. Really interesting class overall and she is a truly caring professor who clearly shows she loves her job.

Dr. Shultz is a great professor. 5 mini speeches that are not graded and 3 big speeches that are graded. Pretty easy class, but be sure to be in class during speech days. She does take attendance. Online textbook is necessary to pass because there are online assignments throughout the semester.

Comment:

Dr Shultz is one of my favorite professors at BU! She is very helpful and keeps class interesting. Though the material she is teaching might not always be interesting, she definitely keeps your attention. Would recommend her to any student!

she loves what she teaches, but the class literally makes no sense at all. I was confused the whole time. She makes your get into groups and the whole class is group based except for the midterm and final, which are really easy if you follow the study guides. you need the book for weekly quizzes. a little work but not horrible

Dr. Shultz is an absolutely amazing professor. Lectures are very easy, you buy a $3 workbook from the student store of powerpoint slides with fill in the blanks. Really enjoys her job and is very helpful. Extra Credit opportunities for every speech, not very hard. Very entertaining, participation and attendance do matter. Would totally take again!

She is an awesome professor. She applied topics through games and other fun activities . Very clear and not many assignments. Only grades are midterm final and a paper. The paper is super easy. Midterms and final are all essay but you get to make your own note sheets so it wasn't that difficult.

This class has a lot of group work outside of class and her tests were ridiculous!!! I wouldnt advise taking it as a gen ad because it's to much work. I liked her as a teacher, shes a great lady but the class itself not so much.

I had Dr. Shultz for Interpersonal comm..If you have a choice take this class in the summer its WAY easier! She doesnt even go over half the stuff she does in a reg sem and most of the work in her class is done in groups! The tests are essay but as long as you study & show her you kno what your talking about she's really lenient..Great prof overall

She's a wonderful teacher. She knows a lot about and is passionate about her areas of study so that class is never boring. She expects a lot of you sometimes and she can be a bit abstract, but she's always willing to help you out. I would definitely recommend her classes.
