Comment:

Took her class during COVID and the mess of 2020, truly is the best teacher I've ever had. She actually cares, and it shows! I really appreciated having her class because she recognized the stuff happening and made class not only accessible but manageable. That doesnt mean we didn't do work, we did a TON, but her approach made it less stressful :)

Worst professor of my life ! She made English harder for me and her comments and feedbacks were really awkward and vague. She never gave an A to anyone. Wouldnt take her course ever again

I didn't know anyone in my class who got an A. She grades essays as if they were from the sewer. 4 essays, limited feedback. Take her class if u want to challenge ur writing skills and every single letter criticized. Even if u go to her office hours its still tough to pull off a high B in her class.

Miss Watt is very funny and compassionate, but her teaching style did not work for me. Her lectures take long rabbit trails and are only relevant when we are discussing a book. I typically accumulate good grades in english but she disclosed to me that she only gives out A's to "perfect papers" so good luck if you want a good grade.

She was alright. Not the BEST. She gave alot of good feedback if you went to office hours, but it was difficult to get above a B-/B even though I continuously went to her office hours.

Professor Watt is really AMAZING! She's so kind, funny, and awkward! The essays can be long at times. However, you do get to peer review with your classmates before the assignment is due (it's really helpful). She really cares about her students! So go to office hours! Who knows? Maybe she'll talk about the Walking Dead.

I took her for the summer. To be perfectly clear, steer away from this class and professor if you want an A. She gives easy B's, but very very few As because of her philosophy that As should be extremely hard to get. (check myedu if you want for proof). She is an interesting lecturer with an clean assignments, but seriously do not expect an A.

The class was pretty tough but she made it way easier and fun. Mrs. Watt is funny and really cares about the students. Also she helped me a lot with my essays. You just have to go to office hours and she''ll revise the essays.

Terrible.... Her attitude is terrible.. She allowed one student to talk about anything she wanted. Did not like her. Don't know how she is able to become a lecturer. DON"T TAKE HER!!!!!

My favorite teacher. Although it was hard to get a C in the class, I still felt she was an easier grader than my other ENG4 professor. I didn't improve in writing at all. I did the same thing. Get on her good side and she'll help you (free points). She really liked me, and if you go to OH she will help you out A LOT.

She's one of the best English professor I've ever had. She's challenging and engaging. Prof Watt wants students to activate prior knowledge for our essays and she encouraged creativity. Class was always fun and learned a lot.

At first, I hated her attitude in the course because sometimes she tries to be funny but really isn't, but she is so hyped and enthusiastic of helping you do well in English 1B and is not pompous or self-centered in the least. First 7 weeks are instruction, final three are essays, but she will take time in office hrs to help you get an easy B.

Challenge her, she will challenge you. Apathy and disinterest lead to no more than a passing grade. She wants you to learn to think outside the box, examine your opinions and the thought processes that stand behind them. I am halfway through veterinary school. I will always use the most important things that I learned in Professor Wattâ??s courses.

You never really do anything but sit there and listen to her talk during class. She never gives any work during class or homework really besides a few pages of reading. Though, she is kind of unorganized, lost about 10 of the students papers at the end of the quarter.

Ms. Watt is pretty cool. Her class was super easy. People mostly get B's because she's wayyyyy too nice to give C's (Even if a person's essay really sucks). I had no problem getting A's on my essays and honestly my writing was okay, not phenomenal. Literally all you need to do is answer the prompt and do MLA format. Everyone in my class liked her.

one of the worst english teachers ever. she never gives out work throughout the quarter, but wants to wait til the last week to pile up work. she judge your whole grade based off like two assignments. pretty dumb if you ask me.

I took Ms. Watt over the summer and her class was fairly easy. She goes over what she wants written on the essays before hand. On top of that, all we did in class was watch sci-fi movies and wrote essays about then after. Highly recommended teacher! Although she might be a little awkward in class (with her jokes)
