professor aldrich definitely cares and is passionate about education, but i struggled to enjoy her class. she rambles on SO much and ends up taking up so much class time. there's a lot of writing for the discussion boards but there aren't any in class exams. i definitely learned a lot more from the field experience than in her class.

I never give negative reviews. However, she assigns so many discussion boards and makes us write a lot for them. I haven't learned anything new but constantly asks us to write things we have learned. She gives two absences and considers one 2 hour period (for EDN and EDNL) 2 classes. She does care, and she does try, but it's so much. Don't do it.

She is a really good professor; however, she is not that good with grading things on time. They either are not graded right, or they are not put in Blackboard for a long time. You will have to ask her about it multiple times, so just stay on it. It can be a lot of work at times, but I would say that it is worth it! She cares a lot about her student

Took her course online. She had a ridiculous amount of work for an online course with a lab. Her due dates were strict and she does not take anything late. She also was not any more considerate because of the hurricane. She also uses blackboard still when most teachers have switched over.

Aldrich is the best professor I have had at UNCW. she is beyond caring, has the best advice and has changed my outlook on life. most of this class was a lecture, all the tests were online. We didn't have a lot of work but we had 3 or 4 main web quests/handouts that took about an hour to finish. if you have to take 200 take it with Aldrich!

Professor Aldrich is one of my all time favorite professors! I had her for EDN200 along with the lab and EDN203. She does a lot of group activities, so get ready for those; they're pretty fun! She shares a lot of relatable stories and it helps you learn the content. The assessments were also fair game as long as you study. Overall, she's awesome!

I had Professor Aldrich for Educational Psychology. She has a good heart and will share a lot of awesome stories about her teaching experiences. The tests were tough (mostly multiple choice, which wasn't fun), but that didn't outweigh the engaging activities and her personality. She's a solid choice.

Aldrich is the best! Chapter quizzes every week or so. They were pretty difficult, but they've gotten easier. A few group presentations that are interesting to learn about. Two tests (one during finals) that are moderately difficult. 4 allotted absences. She's an interesting professor with great stories. Wish she taught more ed classes here!

Make sure you have a good computer! There was a huge amount of work assigned, mostly discussion board posts and peer responses, that you HAVE to do for a grade. The work, however, was not very difficult. You have to read one book that she assigns you, but its a good read. She is good at answering questions and is very helpful. Good Luck!

Fine as far as grading criteria and giving feedback, there were issues with the final project and my group but she helped us. She understood the issues we were having and extended our due date because of scheduling issues between partners. Tip: if you don't like working around other people's schedules opt to due the project by yourself!

This was a pretty demanding online class. Quizzes are super easy, but there were lengthy discussion boards every week and other random assignments. You have a big group project at the end, as well as you have to attend a poverty simulation. She's really nice though and the class wasn't too hard, just not recommended for a quick easy online class.

Too demanding for it to be an online course. Seems like teacher thinks we don't have priorities outside of her class with all the assignments that she gives. Too many assignments and not very clear with what she wants. Wouldn't recommend taking online.

I took her for an online and face to face section of EDN 200 and EDN 203. She is by far the most caring teacher, passionate about what she teaches and knowledgeable. I learned so much in this class and more than just about education. I learned about myself, my beliefs and so much from the others in my class. So reccomend her.

She is a pretty easy professor. She has a lot of group projects but they are all pretty easy. You watch a lot of movies, but they aren't boring documentaries, they are really interesting. Only two tests and she gives you a really detailed study guide. Not a hard class at all!

While this class is a requirement for an Education major, it is pretty useless. However, this is the teacher to take. She is really sweet and helpful and grades easily. Highly suggest this teacher, but ONLY if you have to take this class
