This class changed my life. I feel silly writing this, but Dr. Brien is my hero. He is the kindest, smartest, and most humble person I've ever known. I harbor suspicions that he might be a reincarnation of the Buddha, Gandhi, or both... but, he'd just tell you he professes to know nothing. A great prof who opens worlds without imposing his own.

Dr. Brien is the smartest man I've ever heard speak and he is incredibly knowledgeable in the philosophical field. Classes are heavily discussion-based and he understands how to expand his students' perceptions and teaches them to really consider the important questions of the world.

Prof. Brien is such an inspiring person. He taught my World Religion GRW, and it was my favorite class. He is such an insightful person who makes each of his students think in a different way. You will learn so much about the world. Take any class of his you can, he usually only teaches honors, but it is worth it.

One of the most brillian people i've ever been taught by. I think he might be a reincarnation of Socratese. But really he wants everyone to do as well as they possibly can in class. He may change his syllabus to help people out. He really is a genious. He is not the easiest and you can never miss class. But boy does he know how to expand your mind.

KB is effing brilliant. He is so eloquent and so above everyone else that I think he lives on a different plane of the universe, has reached enlightenment 1230 times, and knows the meaning of life. He is a wonderful, wonderful person and professor, though he does expect a decent amount of input from students. But I absolutely love him!
