This guy talks more than any professor Ive ever had an he is extremely boring. Theres lots of quizzes but theyre pretty simple. It is hard to receive an A because the quizzes are averaged as one test grade and there are only three other tests including the final which is no comprehensive. He says you need a textbook, but we didnt use it.

Comment:

He gives study guides for his tests and usually gives specific things to study. You can make good grades as long as you pay attention and go over the reviews. He lectures for the entirety of the class, and allows limited absences. Overall, the class is not difficult and I like him, but his teaching style is not the most exciting.

Comment:

Lasher is very strict on phones. He doesn't allow them out during class, if he sees a phone he will call you out and sometimes ask you to leave. Quizlet will be your best friend. He has his power points on blackboard. Overall the class is easy if you know how to use quizlet and study some.

Professor Lasher is a cool guy. He knows the material and makes it super easy for students to pass. Literally, you'll fail if you don't show up. He drops the two lowest quiz grades and tells you the pages in the book where to find the answer for your tests. Exams are easy. 15 true or false and 35 multiple choice. Easy A!!

The class was quite easy; he gave clear study guide outlines at the beginning of each section and graded fairly. He does reiterate quite a bit in his lectures, but it's hard to forget what he taught when it comes to memorization. Be prepared to do a little bit of reading on your own, though.

Dr. Lasher is a great professor! He HATES cell phones. So, try to keep your phone in your backpack. He is always willing to help. He is forever reaching his office hour times out to students and stressing how we can email him for help if we can not make his office hours. It is noticeable that he cares for students, take him if you can.

Dr. Lasher is an amazing professor, if you put in the effort you will definitely pass the class. Lasher is an intelligent person that knows his stuff. I recommend others to take this professor. The book is essential to pass the class if you dont understand some things that he is going over. Overall this class was an easy A

Dr. Lasher is a great professor. He does all he can to help you out, even helps you out on tests and quiz questions. He gives a take home test for test 3. He makes politics more interesting and knows his stuff. Highly Recommend him!

Good Teacher!! Extremely easy class. You get Power points and handouts for everything. It makes for a boring class, but I actually learned something from a general class, so I'm happy with that.

Dr.Lasher is awesome. His whole class is basically him giving you a powerpoint and you listening. Boring, but at least you dont cramp your hand writing. 3rd test is a take home test. Every once in awhile he will bring food or snacks to class for everyone. He has a very dry sense of humor, and dont talk over him or pack up before class is over.

Awesome professor! I took this class over the summer and it was one of the easiest classes of my college career. We watched movies, though not all too interesting, its still just watching movies. He even brought us breakfast on thursdays. Funny guy, and very accommodating.

Dr. Lasher has his days...He hates to be talked over. But overall he is an easy professor. Quizzes are easy & tests aren't that difficult! Even makes the 3rd test a take-home one! I passed with an A & I hate political science!

Lasher is funny, but I have no desire to discuss politics. This class is ALL about the history part of politics, which is the most boring. He's a nice guy, so I'm sure he can't help that I don't like politics. I dreaded this class every MWF!

My favorite teacher at FMU. Def. gonna take another class with him. The movies are great and he buys food for days you have to stay over to finish a film. The 5-7 page paper sounds hard, but this class is worth it.

His class in mainly easy. Don't but either of the textbooks for his POl 201 (unless you plan to be absent alot), his notes basically are his tests. He is super easy and even though he will stress reading the book, one can get at least a B whichout them. Just just pay attention and not sleep (which can be hard to do...)
