Comment:

Great class that helps you get over your fear of public speaking. There's not a lot of work. Ms. Maynard is not only a great professor but a great person as well. You can't do bad unless you don't show up to give your speaches. I highly recommend this course and Ms. Maynard!

The challenge are the speaches themselves. Not too much work, mainly just prep work for the speach. She is very giving and the class was quite a bit of fun.

I have no idea what all of these naysayers are talking about. She is an awesome teacher. The work given is to prepare for the upcoming speeches and is not too much. She is great at putting you at ease in front of the class which is what it is all about after all, CONFIDENCE BUILDING.

I am really surprised that she still exists in this campus. I took her couple of semesters ago and I have never seen a professor with such a bad attitude and a load of work for this kind of class. She needs to go back to school to learn how to change her bad attitude. Most students dropped the class when i was taking her...THE WORST!!!!

Man...man, man, man what can I say about Ms. Maynard. Sigh. Straight out of the book, which normally would be good, but its not. She is a teacher that gives busy work all of the time. I had her on a saturday, so I had THREE HOURS of this!!! AHHHHHH!!!

Believe the comments which state, Harsh teacher, who assigns too much busy work. She (Ms. Maynard) herself probably entered the one comment, which states, She is a excellent teacher. Consider yourself lucky if you get a B in this class. I pulled one all-nighter per week for this class.

Ms.Maynard is an excellent teacher.She explains everything fully and understandable.She may give out alot of work, but its benefitical for your upcoming speeches.Iwould recommend her to any student.I hate speaking infront of people, but now im confident, ALL CREDIT GIVEN TO MS.MAYNARD..

Ms. Maynard is a nice lady but a very bad teacher. Poor class planning with lots of busy work assignments that are completely pointless. If you want to learn public speaking well, take someone else. If you want to do drudgework, take her.

Ms. Maynard is a very harsh teacher. She makes the class very hard. I stressed over this class more than any classes I had. I wouldn't advise anyone to take her class.
