Amazing teacher!!! Even though class was not required I made it to every class. She makes classes interesting, fun and worth your while. I have taken several classes she has taught and loved every one of them. If you show up to class and pay attention you easily can make a B or better. I would recommend any class she is teaching!!!

this teacher is amazing.she doesnt take attendance but you want to go to her class.she is really goofy and knew how to keep the class interested it isnt all lecture like most teachers. Shes even making me consider changing to a history major. Def recommend her.

the best teacher ever! even if you hate history i recomend every one take one of her classes especially if you can get into her history of death class!! amazing field trips and food and he in costumes in some classes. don't be scared if she comes to class barefoot thats just how she is!

Professor Cruz is the best! By far the best professor I have had at Western. She really makes a boring subject fun and interesting. She is very flexible with her projects. She wants you to work on things that you enjoy enstead of something she randomly assigns you. I would highly recommend Cruz for any class. She is awesome at her job.

Comment:

Dr. Cruz is the most helpful professor in the History department at Western Carolina University. She gives really good feed back on the paper that is required in this class. I would recommend her to anyone that had to take this class. Only thing is she only teaches it every other semester.
