I took her course as an elective. Tough Marler because she really expects you to write what she thinks is right. One of her essays is an opinion essay on social welfare - she most definitely did not like my opinion & gave me a crappy grade. I took it to admin with the rubric to prove I met requirements. She changed my grade. Not a good prof.

She gives expectations... and then expects like 20x that. Extremely tough marker, do not expect to cruise through her course. Seems nice enough, but doesn't reply to emails very quickly (took over a week). Overall made this course much more difficult than it should have been.

Must think the way she does. She does not accept creativity. Absolutely horrible teacher. No sympathy, not understanding at all. Very crude and uptight. Overall terrible teacher to have. If you have her, DROP THE COURSE.

She has very high standards, which apply to both herself and her students. If you expect to cruise through a course, you won't enjoy it. If you want to challenge yourself and learn a lot, you'll love it. Passionate, committed, helpful and accommodating. I think she's great.
