I came into the second quarter of the class along with 15 other students and Lisa expected us to perform the same as the other half who had been in the class for three months already. When we could not, she became angry and lashed out at students instead of seeing her teaching/the course as an issue.

I honestly had a very difficult time learning from Lisa. The program was very disorganized, especially at the beginning of the quarter, and when students raised questions or concerns, she quickly became frustrated and occasionally hostile. We were lectured for over an hour once over a minor studio clean up error, losing valuable print-studio time.

Lisa is a wonderful professor. I would take her again in a heartbeat and so would the rest of my current class. She is an incredibly skilled printer and will give wonderful advice.

Lisa is amazingly helpful, she provides detailed feedback on time and is very understanding of problems. Her lectures are captivating because you can see how invested she is with her teachings. Lisa's art work is inspiring and she is inspired by her students art. Serious but also has a good sense of humor.

Lisa demands quality from her students, in return she will give outstanding feedback. She is willing to listen to students, but asks that you act as a responsible adult. Yes she's a classically trained artist but I work as a graffiti artist and she has done wonders for my work.

Lisa seems a bit shy at first but is a very deep person and has a lot of very special information to share. She is a fantastic printmaker. If you don't want to be treated like a lazy evergreener and want to be respected and challenged, she will get your best out of you. Also, she is really hot.

She was condescending, rude, belittling, and ridiculously anal-retentive in this class. Like someone previous said "jekyl and hyde" personality- very true! Not approachable. If you had a question for her, she made you feel like an idiot. She talked down to the whole class. I would never, ever, take her again.

Lisa is a very knowledgeable instructor who is honest in her critiques and will put in the extra effort into personal advising if the student has a true interest in the work the class is doing. She's fully recommended for anyone who wishes to learn print making.

Lisa wants to help her students. She gives excellent critiques pointing out the strong points of your art while also showing you how to improve and grow. She is kind and never harsh. She is a bit shy and reserved so she may come off as cold, but after a bit, she is very friendly and involved. She is the best teacher i've had yet.

Any professor that causes over half the class to leave in disgust is terrible at teaching. She seemed to discourage any work that did not mirror her own, basically, she had all the signs of a failed artist that couldn't help but take it out on the rest of the class.

An art teacher who refuses to accept or allow art that doesn't resemble her own. She is indeed difficult, but for all the wrong reasons. An otherwise interesting class became torture in her hands. Also has a great fondness for not granting full credit to students.
