Comment:

Very nice man. Class was based majority on group work, doing assignments together in class and out of class. Attendance was pretty much required because you needed his notes for the exams even if he doesnt say it. Doesnt really look you in the face when he talks, seems uncomfortable with students when they ask questions, but he tries to help you.

Comment:

Dr. Goldstein's class was hands on and you were constantly doing something. Activity packets make up the majority of your grade, followed by essay-style tests. Everything is powerpoint presentations, so you save $ by not having a textbook. I recommend Dr. Goldstein to Psych and Non Psych majors. Final Grade: 95 (A)

Comment:

Had for online course- lots and lots of work. 6-12 discussion questions a week, two exam question essays (1 page each) a week, and activity sheets each week. Lots to hand in, lots of time spent but thats expected for online. Overall, easy grader and gives oppt. for extra credit. Worth the effort- so do the work and get the A, its that simple!

I had Dr. Goldstein for two graduate courses. He showed favortism towards a few students and ignored the rest of the class. He is not helpful at all. I was often insulted by the comments he left on my written assignments and he never seemed satisified. It's a good thing he is retiring after next year. It is definitely time.

He's one of those professors you feel bad saying anything bad about, but honestly this is not the class you want if you're into psych. It turns into earth science/ conservation 125 within the first week. He's not terribly personable, but very polite, and good at getting back to students. And the work is easy but there's loads of it.

He is an all around good professor that any student would instantly like. I like how he uses powerpoint slides for his lectures and the group activities he does every now and then. He's very nice and a fair grader. You should not have a problem getting a good grade in his class.

Does NOT like feedback from the class because he needs all the attention--likes to hear himself talk. Uses the computer for everything! Very easy, but very dull and boring. If U go2 class & finish all assignments, it's an easy A. Tests R essays that U write out ahead of time, & copy @ test time. Not recomended unless U want2 improve GPA or sleep.

All of his tests are essay tests and I'm pretty convinced he gets personal about the grading. I'm a psych major and I thought the class itself was rediculous. It's about how... buildings are set up in cities and crap. I hated him.

You do not even need to take notes - he puts his presentations online before class. Just show up because attendance is part of your grade. He gives the test questions ahead of time and the work is VERY easy.

I took environment and behavior with this professor. This was an easy A. As long as you do all the work and go to class you will get an A.Very ceear on what he wants done and grades pretty good. Nice professor. Oh and usually lets class out 20 minutes early each time!

This class is easy. However, if ur like me & not a good test taker..make sure u do EVERYTHING else the best u can. I felt he was very unfair on grading tests..he takes off 4 ridiculous things. I got a C on all the tests and still managed a B+ in the class. I just felt no connection w/ this teacher he seemed uninterested...i just didnt like him

Ok teacher. Very unorganized, but an easy class. Just show up and do the activity sheets plus. He gives out the questions before the test and you can write down the answers and bring them to the test with you. Easy A if u do the work.

Very boring teacher. Gives out tons of pointless activity sheets and is a very unfair grader. He is unorganized and has no set grading system. It is all madd up on the spot. I hated his class but I admitt, if you did the work it was easy A.
