I really did not like her at all. She does give help, but it can be extremely confusing. Way too much homework given that is much harder than needs to be and her tests are hard. She also has a tendency to treat college people like Jr. high schoolers. I will never take a class ever from her again!

By far the worst professor I have had. Way too much homework. Gives you easy in class lessons, very difficult homework assignments, and impossible tests to pass. She also talks to you like you are a kid. DO NOT TAKE A CLASS FROM HER UNLESS YOU HAVE TO.

I really like her as a person, shes funny and easy to understand if you did the homework first, if not you will be completely lost. If her ways of teaching the math is confusing, their are videos she provides that shows a different teacher explaining the math in a more slow easier to understand way. I preferred the videos to learn the math.

way too much work! many many packets to be completed, and she will say something wont be due, or assigned then change it without explanation.There is so much work, and so many things to do, it is hard to focus on learning the math. also, she teaches by showing wrong ways to do it first. super confusing for me, I would end up learning it that way.

She doesn't explain things very well at all. She expects you to be able to learn from the book, and gets frustrated if students don't understand her explanations right away. Do not take a class from her.

Marilyn is funny. This is a very basic math class, slow moving unless math is a challenge to you. All you have to do is go for the clicker points. Otherwise, she can't really explain how to do the math we're supposed to be learning.

This class is pointless to go to, but because we have clicker points every day you have to go. Kier doesn't teach you anything during class and expects you to do the nightly homework which she doesn't collect. She makes mistakes in her own math problems all the time. If you take this class make sure you go to the SI sessions.

The style of teaching from this professor is very poor. She makes SIMPLE math mistakes probably 14 times each class. I feel like the students knew more about how to do the math than she did. Does not allow computers or cell phones at any point in class and if you decided to leave or go to the bathroom during class she will single you out and yell!

Every once in a while in your college career, you will encounter a professor who is extremely rude, offensive and unnecessarily unkind. For me, this person was Marilyn Keir. I took an online class from her, a general MATH1010 requirement. I?m fairly good at math so I figured I would take it online because I don?t need much assistance in my learning

Made you take really annoying weekly quizzes that were tricky rather then testing knowledge, or way too easy to matter. Weekly online homework was not helpful. Exams were too short only 60min long where I felt 90-120min would be more suffice. Online class was not very welled organized needs revamping each semester or it gets confusing.

She is a nice lady and a good teacher, however, you do need to study on your own from the book. The webworks, quizzes each week, and exams are all fairly easy if you try a little.

Far too much busy work for a college class. The weekly internet homework set is filled with problems far beyond the level of the class.Doesn't seem to realize that the class is not filled with gifted mathematicians and gets annoyed when you don't understand more complex topics. Seems to enjoy tricking you on the exams. Useless text.

I've never had a better math teacher. She made math make perfect sense. She's very helpful and her tests and quizzes were straight foreword and well planned. I'm usually bad at math but I had zero problems in her class.

Really great teacher. One of the best teacers I have had. She provides extra grade options and she is always more than happy to help students. She is so hot and I was really glad to be a student of her.

Over all this class is a requirement and Keir is most likely the easiest professor to take it from. However, there is way too much busy work for a college class and her grading is based upon personal preference. Another thing to keep in mind.. if you are the least bit attractive you have already been taken down a notch.

marilyn is very nice in class and encourages you to go to her office hours, however if you go to her office hours she is not helpful. She assigns far too much work to ever be completed and docks you points on the smallest errors. Her tests are very hard and she wants specific answers for full credit. I would not recomend this professor.

I can't stand her!!!! She was the worst math teacher I've ever had and has an attitude... she isn't very helpful if you're not getting it.. I with stick with Kelly Macarthur.
