I took one night a week for 2 hours and 40 minutes. As long as you can stay awake that long, its an easy A. She is really into Mythology and knows what she is talking about. LISTEN to her stories. The tests are more over what she says than what is in the books and slide shows. she offers all of her slides and notes online and is very helpful!

Tends to go on tangents about random thoughts or stories she has while teaching the subject. She is a greek archaeologist, and it floods over into her lectures a lot. Hardly any assignments, so when you do have one, do well on it. Only 4 assignments for the whole semester. Likes specifics on tests. Take good, detailed notes from class!

The class is easy and interesting. There is not much required of you outside of class besides weekly reading quizzes that are fairly easy. You can tell she is really interested in what she teaches and the stories are exciting.

The class is interesting if you stay open minded. You are learning stories....it is not a "critical thinking" course. Recommend taking if you need a slow paced easy class. She is super sweet!!

This prof made me hate mythology. lecture was pointless and she just went over the reading that was assigned for homework. Ridiculously annoying to listen to. Class was still fairly easy though. I would recommend taking this course from someone else!

This professor is amazing!! I took this class last semester (Fall 08'). The course content is very interesting. The professor covers everything that is on the exams in her letcure. She is very fair and respectfull in her grades. I suggest that everyone should take her class!! She Rocks!!
