Probably the best instructor at Clark . Chemistry is not an intuitive subject for me, but the way Nadine teaches it makes it much less daunting. She's very engaging and super helpful/available if you're stuck. The exams are pretty tough but she does everything possible to set students up for success in the course. Really glad I took OCHEM with her.

Nadine is awesome. I almost forgot all of 141, but the way she teaches such a complicated subject, it was easy to get back into the groove of things. I wish all my professors could be as good as her. My only gripe is there wasn't any extra credit, but c'est la vie.

Comment:

Fair and nice teacher. Cannot recommend her enough. You have to be able to study independently without much hand-holding as she doesn't give as much information but she is one of my favorites. Super clear and always willing to help. Only some stuff she doesn't cover on exams. Should come to class once a week or you will miss out on important info.

Nadine is very nice and understanding. If you need help understanding something she is always willing and does a good job explaining. Although I feel like her test were fairly hard which should be expected of a chemistry class. Make sure you study problems beyond what is assigned in class and are prepared for more complicated problems on tests.

Comment:

Nadine is great teacher who explains things well and makes sure that students have a firm grasp of concepts. She is always available for help. Classes are mainly lecture and learning worksheets. There are group projects to get prep for exams and there are about three or four exams. She is kind and fair. 10/10

Nadine is incredible. She is not one of those teachers who has one set of slides that she uses every year. She writes everything on the board daily and is completely engaged in everyone's learning. If you miss class, you will miss a lot! She loves chemistry and it is contagious. She appreciates effort and will give partial credit where it is due.

Nadine is the best professor I've ever had. She went out of her way to make sure every student understood what was being taught. She is very accessible outside of class and explains things very well. She's also very passionate about what she teaches and shows it. Take her if you can she will make you love chemistry.

Nadine does a great job explaining complex chemistry topics. She really cares for her students and goes out of her way to be available, particularly online. She gives a lot of assignments, but they all have a purpose and will help you understand things better. She's fair, thoughtful, and thorough. Take her class!

Nadine is awesome. She really cares about making sure students are learning by breaking down concepts so they can be understood, being very responsive to questions, and providing plenty of supplemental materials at just the right time to enhance learning. I feel very fortunate to have been able to take her class.

Comment:

Nadine is truly a gem in a world of upper division science courses. Organic chemistry is no easy matter, but I loved O-chem because of her. She teaches clearly and always writes her notes on the whiteboard, and is also there for you when you need help and flexible scheduling. Expect tons of homework and tough exams however; form study groups!

Nadine is the best teacher I have ever had. She is so passionate about what she teaches and is even more passionate about her students. She goes out of her way to make sure every concept is crystal-clear. Chemistry is less intimidating when you have her as an instructor. She also works around your other classes, which is unheard of! Nadine rules!

I am currently in medical school and have had many professors at this point in my education. Nadine rates among the very best of them. She will go out of her way to help you in any way she can if you are putting in the effort. The coverage of the material was so thorough that I spent very little time studying MCAT O-Chem and did very well.

I had Nadine for all 3 terms of genchem! She is the best chem teacher at Clark! Always willing to help, makes classes fun and interesting, very nice, great to talk to, and patient! Assigns online and written homework, tests are not too bad. If u go to class every day, do your homework, get help when u need it, and study, u will get a good grade.

Nadine is a great teacher. She is funny, smart, and knows what she is doing. She is great at explaining. Attendance is not mandatory, but if you miss one class you will miss a lot of the material she covers. She tries to connect to students and help them to succeed. However, her tests are very challenging.

Nadine is absolutely amazing. If you are having a difficult time with understanding the material in lecture she is more than happy to take time out of her schedule to assist you and ensure that you understand. Her tests can be somewhat hard but provides many old exams and study sheets to help prepare. Highly recommend!!

Very good teacher! 350 characters this site allows for descriptions isn't close to enough to describe how much of an awesome professor she is. She posts the notes online so you can print them, one homework assignment a week and if you pay attention in class the tests are easy. She is very good at explaining things in a variety of ways.

had her for all of gen chem and now organic chem. nadine is by far the best teacher i have ever had. she explains things so well that i havent had to touch my book the entire year and last year. extremly nice and understanding. its a tough class but if you pay attention to her lecture you will do just fine.
