Comment:

She's a good teacher, but not easy. She gives very detailed lectures/notes, but she has class notes available online which help tremendously. She can be a bit hard to follow at times because the class is EXTREMELY boring. I never once opened the book, but it probably would have helped. Tests are really, really long and not very easy.

This class is all about memorization skills..if your good at memorizing 22 pages of notes that take it! It actually wasn't that hard i made an a but did put alot of time into it..if you dont have alot of time than dont take this class!

5 test that are 125 question each and a final. You have quizzes before each test that are extra credit. She takes the best 100 questions of the 125 and your grade is based on that. IE get 98 out of 125 right you just got a 98. Download her notes and study them you will get an A. Listen in class and you will actually learn.

Dr. Perin teaches in detail and her test force you to learn the material. These poor ratings are due to my fellow TCC Eagles actually having to spend a good amount of time studying to receive a good grade. If you would like to learn something, take her.

Dr. Perrin gives extremely detailed lectures. If you ask for help, she gives it freely. Read the chapter before lecture, take notes and you will be ahead. Several made an A in her class Fall08. She teaches at a high level and expects more of her students. If you are a Geology major, take her class and you will be VERY prepared for transfer to FSU!

This class is a joke, our class has had two 100 plus question test so far and she has only been to class 5 times.. thats ridiculous how is anyone supposed to succeed in a class where we have a sub more than our actual teacher????

This was the worst teacher I have ever taken at TCC. She is horrible and not a very nice lady. I understand she is old and unhealthy but that is no excuse for the way she teaches. They really should do something about this woman teaching a college course because she really does not help ANYONE or teach anyone anything.

She Is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!! Do not take this class. Everyone in my class has complained about her but the dean will not do a thing. She does not help any student whatsoever. I tried my hardest in this class an got a low C. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS!!!

She is a nice lady, but she does not really car about how you feel. The class never know what to expect and she doesnt not use technology at all. All her information is hand written whichg you can not read at all. She teaches way differently from the book.

MOST BORING CLASS EVER! DO NOT TAKE! everyday is the exact same thing, an hour of horrible notes on the overhead. half the class is asleep or gone by the end of each period. the exams are 120 questions and the reviews are 30+ pages of notes front and back. the book cost $100 and you dont use it..ever. seriously, do not take this class

Does not seem to care at all whether or not we learn anything. Extreme amount of extra credit show that she is just trying to pass every one with out actually making us learn the material. asking questions is pointless because she gives quizzical answers, and asking her questions is required to interpret her handouts.

I am coming back to college after being out for a while. It is refreshing to have a teacher who treats me like an adult not a 5th grader! Those of you who are lazy, yes, PLEASE stay away from traditional teachers like this so the rest of us can actually get an education! Thank God for teachers like her!

I learned a lot.Tests were actually at the college level, not middle school which many of the ditz's in the class apparently expected. Only irresponsible students who have NEVER grown up don't do well in her class. If you don't do well it's your own **** fault! More people who bash profs on this site just need to get a life!

Its funny to watch so many students be such drama queens about her. Her tests are long but doable. She is straight up overhead projector and notes nothing more nothing less. She curves pretty substantially. Don't expect her to be hip or cool. Just sit there, take notes and keep your mouth shut. You'll do fine. Leave the drama at the door.

Knows nothing about how to properly write a test. Very unhelpfull. Just the way she teaches and gives her tests are extrememly stressfull, you never know what the test is over. He notes are both out of the book and whatever extra she wants to use, which is alot.

Yes,her tests are long; and yes, you do need to attend class. Now, grow up--you're in college. She will probably never be asked to appear at Comedy Zone, but she is there to teach, and she will give you your money's worth. She is very smart and a little different. Learn to enjoy differences and enjoy learning.
