Awesome Professor. Very educated and diverse individual. Loves what he is doing and it rubs off on students. MKT100 Was all conceptual and applying our knowledge to a Marketing Concept. Very helpful during office hours and answers his email quickly. Highly recommend this Professor!

Norm is a decent prof. He seems amazing at first, but I quickly lost interest as the course becomes extremely boring, falling alseep-boring. He's pretty good at lecturing, but goes a little too fast. The course is pretty easy until the final exam. BAM was it hard as ever. I dropped significantly after the exam, so make sure you study for the exam!

TERRIBLE. By far the WORST Prof. I've ever had at Rye. He didn't explain anything -- emphasis not on learning about marketing but on memorizing his stupid acronyms. NOT Helpful, totally arrogant. Luckily I had a great TA so I made it through, I feel bad for those who didnt. Worst exam ever. AVOID HIM if you can.

Marketing is not a hard class but he is out to prove that it is and he makes it hard.I attended every lecture and found his final hard, not because I did not study but because he doesn’t prepare you for it. The book doesn’t help if you have the worst teacher at Ryerson and he is one of the co-authors. It just goes to prove those who can’t …. Teach.

Great prof - great TAs especially head TA - hard final. Listen in class. In response to commetn of another poster about women, it is wrong, prof is open and not afraid to speak about it.

very helful professor.knows his stuff.makes class very enjoyable, + uses lots of intersting ex. that are easy to understand and remember (leather pants, BMW, Olympics..).Not intimidating, very approachable, + understanding,great slides. BUT YOU HAVE TO GO TO CLASS. exam was hard but only because we asked for multiple choice. our fault, not his.

I HATED his class. boring, badly presented, badly organized, complete **** of a teacher. he was rude instead of helpful; seems to have a thing against women, as well as a strange love for leather pants. i did every reading, went to every class, started all projects well ahead of time, and ended up with a C. the final exam was awful.

GO TO CLASS.when i was writing the final I felt soo bad for the two thirds of the students that didn't.There was no way you could pass the final without having gone to class. I went to all the classes and DID NOT open a book for the final and I got a B+. Norm is very unorginized, if you need help go see Mark the head TA.

I loooved this course. Norm made it really interesting and the TA's were great. The final was really hard and I dont think they prepared us for it well enough... i was getting an A and i dropped to a B- after the final.u gotta come to class cuz reading the book won't do it. It's total lecture based. They marking easy... study hard for final!
