This was probably the worst class I have ever had. I should have known because on the first day the teacher asked for our opinions and then told me that I was wrong. None of the grades were returned, he never showed up, and our assignments consisted of reading a full novel in two classes which is crazy for one class. If YOU HAVE HIM SWITCH NOW!

worst professor iv had all year avoid taking him. you don't get any grades back and not to mention he doesn't teach racism and sexism its a literature class. the man should not be teaching, he also watches everyone hand in the teachers surveys so when you give him all bad marks he'll know who gave him the marks

RUN AS FAST AT YOU CAN...and don't look back. I would highly suggest that you either pick another professor or another major. The AACS department is not the smallest on campus for no reason. The quality of service you receive from Traore and the other faculty members is the worst I've ever seen. I wish I could change my major..

READ!!! That's the best advice anyone can give you. If you read the assignment before class, he will give you a five question quiz, and you will pass. True, he can be boring and slow when it comes to giving back quizzes, but if you just follow along you will pass the class.

I honestly don't think he is as bad as people make him sound. He is just a little difficult to understand cause of his strong accent but u'll get use to it. he is really nice and tries to get through to u. but u must attend EVERY class and read the assigned reading or else u will fail the quizs he gives every class! Hes not that bad!

OMG this teacher is terrible. DO NOT take him. his tone of voice is like a whisper and he doesnt teach anything. we had 5 books for the class. he would say read literally 15 chapters one day the next day would be a test.then we would finish the book and move on to another one. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

I took this racism class hoping for an open forum. In actuallity, he had us read only books involving slavery or racism on white people's part and only against black people,no other races except black and white were dealt with,the books were old,some were fiction,and his grading is arguably arbitrary.This class was offensive and a waste of our time

A lot of people had issues with him but, I didn't. A lot of kids in my class didn't read and then the quizzes were hard. They are only hard if you don't read. You just have to describe certain things in the book. He doesn't want what you think about it. Only what was described. Overall great and nice teacher.
