I LOVE HER!!!!! Honestly I was so afraid of taking Int Spanish 1 & 2 together in one semester but Professor Lapuerta made it a WONDERFUL experience! :) I have to say though, I absolutely abhor the textbook that CCSU has chosen for this class.

She is one of the smartest spanish professors I've ever had. She has such a welcoming personality and welcomes everyone to learn. As long as you have the desire to learn, she will love you! Prof. Lapuerta is, hands down, the best professor at CCSU

Lapuerta is one of the best professors in the Modern Language Dept. & throughout the university. That is not to say that she is easy. You will be challenged, you need to show up and do the work. But if you are trying, she is there to support you. Her accent will take you a minute...but after the first few class-it's all good. You'll love her.

I have had prof. Lapuerta for 2 semesters in a row and I absolutely love her. She is always willing to help if you show intrest. If you are confused she will stop and help you.She has a clean accent and speaks english very well. If you are having trouble with anything she is always willing to work with you and help you.Best prof. ive ever had!!!

She is a great teacher...the class is very challenging though and you have to be motivated and on top of things to do well..she teaches all in spanish but she speaks clearly and has a "clean" accent so i can understand her..she makes u work hard to earn a good grade tho.a lot of material u have to teach yourself but the text is great, very helpful

Great professor! She is very understanding and as long as you give your best, do the homework and study a bit you wil pass no problem. Ask for help and she will be there. I learned alot so if that is what you want take her! she is by far my favorite professor out of all my classes, and im a senior.

I dont know what everyone is talking about. This class was wonderful! I learned so much and the Prof. is great and very intelligent. She's really nice. She just makes you work, isn't that what we're here for?? I suggest you take her if u want to learn the language.
