I HATE MATH! I'M SCARED OF MATH! Fall of 2015 I took him, and I passed with an A! He's laid back, he goes off his own notes, he tells you the book is useless so you don't have to buy. Hw is 10%, give you practice exam before the exam which is similar to the test. If you use the correct formula, but still get the answer wrong he gives 1/2 credit. :)

DO NOT TAKE HIM. Absolutely worst teacher ever. He could care less about students actually learning because he doesn't put any effort into teacher. Literally every class, students ask each other "do you get it?" He is unapproachable and would never recommend him. Ever.

Prof. McDonnell is THE best math professor I have taken, thus far. First day he tells you the book is optional he goes by his own notes and not by the book. 10 questions on all 3 exams, final is cumulative same 10 questions. HW is 10% of your grade. He cracks joke every so often because he notices that we start to doze off haha. I highly recommend!

Professor McDonnell is a good math instructor. Really knows his math. Don't need $100+ textbook because he lectures his own notes. Tests are based off of the homework and pretest he assigns. Super cool teacher. Very fair. Laid back. I noticed a lot of students would leave early. Dont disrepect him by leaving early! Don't miss class, take notes...A!

Math 130. Book is not required, he assigns the homework. The lectures are long, kind of a funny guy, he's super laidback. If you need help ask. No quizzes just tests. Tests are based on the homework he assigns. Gives you many examples. Goes over homework in class. I would take his class again. If you dont like math, go to class.

I actually really like him. He's hilarious! And he breaks everything down so well its hard not to understand. Always review homework with the class for a better understanding. Homework is graded by completion.

Professor McDonnell's dry sense of humor and sarcasm made statistics bearable and even enjoyable! Attending class is a MUST since you will be taking notes constantly and use those notes in preparation for the tests. A plus is that you won't need to buy a textbook!

He is a great professor. I just finish taking his class and made the mistake of missing a lot of classes. He still gave me a decent grade. He explains everything and is very easy to understand. (can become monotone but goes into great detail about a topic)If only I attended class and did what I was suppose to do I would have easily passed with an A

This teacher is super boring. He WILL put u to sleep. He was so bad i almost reported him, he missed atleast 7-9 times in the semester and never notified us about it. Dont take this teacher if you actually want to learn something. hes also always late! by far the worst ive ever had!

He is one of the best teachers I've had! He doesn't use the book so don't waste your money. TI calculator is a must (at least for his stats class). Don't worry if you don't finish the hw, he goes over it in class. He is easy to talk to and doesn't mind taking time to explain stuff to you. Math can be hard and if it's not your thing, take him.
