This professor is great! He made getting up at 8am better because not only does he present the information clearly but he just loves it too! He is very helpful as well. He is a fair grader, will review your papers before you hand them in so you can get the best grade possible and overall really nice. Great Teacher!

Professor Flowers is great! Really, he made going to class at 8am all worth it because not only did he present the information clearly but you can tell he loved it. He is a fair grader so basically work hard and you will get a good grade. He is always willing to help you and he is one of my favorite professors here.

I don't know why he had so may bad ratings. He was extremely nice and helpful! His studyguides were the test and the papers we wrote were really interesting to research. I would for sure recommend him!

This man is EXTREMELY nice and very willing to help! He will help you with anything at all if you go to him. DO NOT BUY THE TEXTBOOk though. He teaches straight from notes that he gives you. If you study your notes and the study guide you will do great. The study guide is the test. Super easy class and great professor. Take this class!

He does well enough with a class that covers such a broad period of time. Textbook is never used. Come to class, take notes, and use the study guide that he gives you - it's word for word what the test is. He's not really exciting but he gets the information to you in a sufferable manner. Not bad. Not great.

Extremly boring, speaks in bullet form and seems to have no in depth knowledge of anything he talks about. Can sometimes seem arrogant but does make it clear what he's looking for. Definitly not recommended.

Flowers is boring especially at 8 AM but he is really nice and always offers help and encourages office hours. If you take notes and go to class you will sail through his class. Tests are word for word off of the study guides. Easy class

Doesn't go into depth about ANYTHING and can't pronounce half the things he teaches. "Yangtze" is not pronounced "Yang-TEASE". If you want to actually learn history and not just sail through a boring gen ed, get someone else.

i don't know why people siad he is really bad. YES, he does basically read his notes, but how else are you going to teach history? He gives you line by line what should be in your notes and that's extremely helpful and SO easy when he gives you study guides for the tests...tests are easy!

Flowers is extremely clear on what he wants. He gives you a study guide with everything on it and the term paper he lets you turn in early and he goes over it and gives it back and you are almost guaranteed an A.

Yes, he is boring BUT his test study guides basically require you looking back in your notes and memorize a few key terms. the tests are so easy. he's very nice and will help you on the ONE paper you have. no pop quizzes, no BS. just straight lecture and test, easy A.

Prof. Flowers is not that bad. He is boring and monotonous, but he is also helpful. He is willing to change your grade on essays if you can back up your case. But in my class alone he failed like 3 people for plagiarizing the term paper...so be careful with internet sources!

this guy is the most ignorant, boring, monotnous "teacher" ever. he hates questions cuz he gets confused and all he does is read you notes...that's it. i dont call it teaching. it's basically a really bad "Book on Tape" series

VERY BORING. Doesn't like questions because he doesn't know any answers. If you put a mono-toned tape recorder in front of the room, pressed play and listen to that for an hour 15mins while taking notes, then that would be equals to Dr. Flowers teaching.
