Ramesh encouraged meaningful, intellectual discussion. His approach to close reading and editing have been much more useful to me than anything else I have learned in an English class. He might be difficult to understand at times, but if you do the readings and are interested in the topic he is an excellent professor.

Ramesh is great, although occassionally difficult to understand, he encourages discussion, is supportive of participation, and critiques papers well (meaning his grading is not too tough, A's are definitly possible),the other reviews here are full of $h1t!!!

Ramesh is knowledgable and cultured about Shakespeare. Class discussions help and the insight provided is what a Cornell instructor should be capable of providing. Overall, great teacher, great guy, and I would definately take another course of his.
