Hottest Professor on Campus even though he looks creepy in his rate my professor picture. On a more serious note, he is a really good professor. I learned so much about Plato and Aristotle from taking his course. He is helpful during office hours. The hardest thing about his class might be paying attention (considering how hot he is).

To do well in this class you honestly do not need to read. Look it all up on sparknotes & you'll be fine. But pay close attention in class. Write what he wants to hear on the test. Go to his office hours to make sure you've got it. Gives you questions to the test in advance. Boring but is do-able.

Boring. If your not into philosophy take another professor. Assigned books are hard to comprehend. Confusing at times. Attendance is mandatory.

Great Professor. Knows what he is talking about. Took him as an honors course and it was difficult but it was also a ton of fun. Shares personal stories that are both entertaining and relateable. Did not like the subject material but he made me want to go to class. Also struggled and because I exhibited effort he bumped my grade up. He truly cares!

Prof. is awesome. He is currently on-leave but he's coming back. Knows his stuff, very clear. GREAT at explaining and answering questions. I communicated w/ him via email all semester and never spoke to him until the last day of class. I deserved a C but he gave me a B when he saw it was the 1st assignment that brought me down. And he's funny!

Essays will be difficult if you don't understand the material. Fridays are discussions (pretty much another lecture except a TA does it), and you're only required to go to 6, rest are optional, but it's a good idea to keep going (extra pts). Possible questions for the final are given in advance. Take lots of notes b/c it will def. help for essays!

Class is interesting but tough. Just show him that you know what each of the readings are talking about when writing each essay and your basically set. Overall, he's a good teacher.

You know who I am. He's a good teacher. Especially with this stuff, he knows his Greek. I'll give him that. He can seem cocky, but that's just his knowledge of the subject showing.

had him for fall 2003. the materials are rather boring but if you read the books/pages and listen and pay attention in lecture you should do fine. i did fine at first but it's SO BORING! i was unmotivated to read the material but still took a few notes from the over head and the stuff you repeated over and over. i'm surprised i passed the class!
