Dr. Adlam is a really wonderful man, but his Research Methods class leaves students a little lacking. He does have his moments in class where he is hilarious, but other than that he is quite a dry and monotonous professor. Not a tough grader by any means though.

Dr Adlam is always interested and invested in your work and education, which is wonderful. He really, REALLY needs to learn how to end a lecture early if he's finished, and not purposefully trail on to fill time.

Driest class ever. Makes me want to scream. Flexible with assignments and somewhat understanding but incredibly hard to pay attention to his lectures. He also made us buy 3 books to which only 2 are mentioned in class.

Went on sabbatical last year...and missed out on how to use Moodle. As a result, none of his slideshows or notes were posted. Argh! Don't even bother going to his class if you are tired, he'll put you right to sleep with his soporific drone. Read the textbook to reinforce the lecture material, go to class and you'll be fine.

A very nice prof and very willing to help. He can be boring at times, but he also teaches classes that are boring regardless. Still a really good guy, and seems to be aware and accepts that students don't always come to class or hand assignments in on time. Recommended.

He was very passionate about his section of the course, so he tended to speak quickley, but will go slower if you only ask. I also know that he spends a lot of his own time helping people in the department. He's a really nice man. Just talk to him. His research seems excellent from all I've heard.

I wasn't impressed with his classes. Seems like he responds to only certain emails; he totally shafted me when I asked specific questions relating to an assigment. I kept reminding him but he still never helped me.
