I'm a straight A student, but I have always struggled in math (I attempted this course before and had to drop it). Professor Plough makes all the difference in the world. He is incredibly funny and genuinely wants to see everyone succeed. Offers great reviews for tests and ensures EVERYONE understands the topic. Very flexible. AWESOME TEACHER!!!

Nice guy but sometimes used sarcasm towards students in front of other students and this made people afraid to ask questions. Nobody should feel like a question is going to be passively made fun of through sarcasim. If you're afraid of math, take him but if you're not then seek a more serious teacher.

What an awesome math professor. For once a math instructor who teaches material slowly and makes thing just... easy! He often showed more than one way of solving problems and his reviews were exactly the kind of problems that were on his test. He takes often confusing concepts and just makes things easy. I wish he taught every math class.

I wish Mr. Plough could teach every class I ever need! He is absolutely awesome!!! I completed the semester without getting more than 2 or 3 things wrong on any given test. But if you do have issues, he has a very nice curve :) And he makes it fun! Math, fun? lol, I laughed more in there than any other class!! Highly recommended professor!!!!

I had trouble with Mr. Plough's style of teaching- it didn't seem like he had much of a lesson plan. If students came to class with a question about a problem he would solve it on the blackboard; he skips steps and moves quickly, and gets obviously impatient if you don't "get it". He does give reviews before the tests which are very similar, though

You've got to have patience if you're the type that likes others to get to the point. He has a unique way of teaching. It's not necessarily bad, but for people like myself who want others to get to the point in a matter of seconds I had a hard time with his style. Nice guy; just a unique teaching style.

Great teacher! He really breaks it down and gives you the easy way of getting the answer. He applies math to something everyone can relate to. Only one thing wrong. He is too nice. He should make students utilize the tutoring available instead of taking up valuable class time.

Awesome teacher! At the beginning of each class I was extrememly bored....but by the end, you GOT IT.....what the hell it was that he was getting at(teaching!)....he really teaches you how to do allgebra the easiest way and I totally get it now.
