Comment:
This is by far the worst professor I have ever taken. In fact, this is the class that made me drop out of school forever. I went through a spiraling depression and had to see a therapist after taking this course. Word of advice: take this class over the summer with another instructor.

Comment:
Electromagnetics is a difficult subject and it can be simplified for freshers. Dr. Schitt complicates the material for no obvious reasons. Dr. Schitt has flexible office hours where you can go and ask questions but beware he can be moody. The class is mandatory so I had to take Dr. Schitt's course. I am not taking anymore classes with him.

He is a difficult professor but you will learn extremely well from Dr. Schill's class as you need to be well versed in multi-variable calculus and their is some sprinkles of partial differential equation, but nothing to difficult that be learn in less then an hour. I would take him easily again.

Comment:
Dr. Schill is probably the most difficult professor in the entire engineering department, if not all of UNLV. This class requires more of your time than a full time job. But if you go to his office often, he is willing to help you. This is crucial; he really wants to see out of class participation.

Comment:
It was rather unsual that Schill was teaching this circuits 2 course cause he mostly teaches electromagnetics. Even though his class is really difficult, it is rewarding in the end and gives you a better grasp on the concepts. He designs his tests to truly "test" you to your limits. He doesn'thand out grades, be prepared to work hard.

Class was hard and he made it more difficult. Tests are nearly impossible w/ an average of about 16-20 percent. Not the best way to learn a subject in my opinion...

Tough, but fair. As long as you put out a good effort and don't give up, try to understand the concepts, you'll do fine. He cares more about the concepts than the math, so understand the concepts.

Uh oh, break out the WAAAAHHHbulance. "You'll get a grade lower than you deserve, blah blah blah..." The classes are meant to be tough. If you're not ready for challenging courses, then don't be an engineer. Schill is an excellent, and very hard, professor.
