Professor Bandyopadhyay has a great teaching style. He really knows how to keep the class engaged and ensure we are interested in the content. His exams are also pretty straight-forward. He also does lots of examples in class to walk through difficult problems. Sati is the man!

Very funny, light work load. Take good notes in class and go over the calculations from the powerpoints and you should be fine. Great prof in terms of teaching concepts. For the mechanics of calculations, I'd refer to the text book

My fav prof of all time. He is easily the funniest man on campus. I would often be in SHOCK during class.. laughing so hard. JOKES. And very easy class, (surprisingly helpful in MAcc). If you remember R&R you'll do well. He's also very helpful if you are confused for the assignments

Awesome prof! Very helpful indeed and funny too! If your schedule conflicts with his office hours, he is willing to offer help via phone. However, he knows everyone in his class, so make sure you don't skip too much otherwise he'd hand you a bad class participation mark! But, overall, awesome prof!

He's very reasonable and helpful. Tells funny jokes about food and technology to lighten up the dry material. He makes sure students understand the concept before he moves on to the next topic. Had him for AFM 391 and was pleased as well. Bandy's very popular among the girls, too! Definitely one of the few good profs in School of Accountancy at UW.

I took 2 classes with him. Much better in a small classroom environment. Kind, funny, and reasonable prof. Very approachable. OK at teaching, but personally I found it easier to understand concepts working on my own (maybe just my style). Would take another class with him again. EDIT: didn't realize I gave him an Average quality rating. It should be Good quality.

He is a really nice prof! In my experience, he can be quirky and funny (without trying to be, which makes him even funnier), and his midterms and finals are totally fair (but a few tricks! gotta watch!). Ask for clarification if you don't understand - he will help you learn!!

Bandy, Bandy, Bandy...the man is obviously very intelligent, but not the greatest prof...he called in a microphone technician instead of just turning up the volume! half an hour later and he was back to whatever it is he was teaching...couldn't really understand him. sorry Bandy...

If you took a mallet and repeatedly beat yourself with it instead of going to his class. You'd feel like you got more for your tuition money. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. If held at gunpoint and forced to take this course, tell the shooter you'll take a bullet.

worst teacher..ever.can't use powerpoint slides, stick to any coherent lecture/material, explain anything...favourite phrase is 'a debit it a debit, a credit is a credit'. the course alone is THE DEVIL because they force non-accounting students to account

Humourous and very knowledgeable. But monotonous and uninterested all the time. Does not teach much except reviewing homework questions. Love his humour when confronting students misbehaving in class!
