Sean is very knowledgeable about video and he is good at making sure the class isn't too hard for an entry level course. I would have been very lost if I hadn't taken photo before because he just jumps right in. Take detailed notes during lecture. The final is online and open note and the pop quizzes through the semester are easy if you show up.

He is very knowledgeable in the material but doesnt grade anything in a timely manner. Very disorganized, starts multiple assignments before we finish one. Helpful but caused a lot of stress.

I loved Sean as a professor and will try to have him in whatever other class I can. He was very helpful and if he knew you were putting forth effort, he was lenient on grading. He knows most people don't know the programs and gave chances for redos of assignments. Very funny, highly recommend.

Love Sean. He's a great professor and makes class fun to go to, he grades tough and is up front about it, but it's only to make you a better student. Easily my favorite professor I have taken here.

Sean is my favorite professor at BGSU, period! Every chance I've had to take a class with him, I've taken it. Super laid back guy, can pretty much talk to him about anything. Super proficient in all programs he uses and teaches a variety of courses in the program well. If you're ever struggling, just talk to him and he'll help you the best he can.

You will learn more in VCT 466 than in any other VCT class. Period. Sean explains details when absolutely needed - but focuses on how to learn software in itself. Very technically proficient, allows creative projects if you ask. Easy to approach.
