I struggled very much in this class. She finds It hard to understand that we all do not speak Spanish, so its difficult to do what she asks. She was accessible outside class but also was a messy grader and made mistakes often that if you did not catch, would hurt your grade. Study HARD and you'll pass.... hopefully

She's nice, but isn't very dedicated. She hasn't even put in the effort to learn our names and so we have a seating chart that we must sit in so that she can check her paper before calling your name. The work is fine, its all straight from the textbooks and every class is repetitive. She doesn't speak in Spanish in class, but she expects you to.

I've had her many times, each one better than the last. You have to work for your grade, but it is so rewarding if you do. Definitely take her if you want to learn.

She is just a nasty piece of work. Her Spanish is actually not very good. She should have stayed with math. I would never take her class again. She is grossly unfair with people.

I love this woman. I've taken multiple classes with her at Quinnipiac and she's really just an awesome teacher. She cares about her students and wants you to do well. You will have to work hard, but it's so worth it. She really gave me a passion for Spanish. Give this woman a chance and you won't regret it.

Don't be swayed by the negative reviews that you see earlier. She is a nice lady, a great professor, and not half as difficult as everyone on here says she is. You have to put in the work, but it's certainly not the hardest thing I've ever done. Take her if you have an interest in Spanish.

Profe Magnarelli is really nice and helpful. We literally do everything straight out of the book and every class is basically exactly the same, so it gets a little old after awhile. She's very clear what will be on quizzes so I didn't think they were hard at all (if you did well in AP in high school you should easily get an A)

Prof Magnarelli was a very nice woman, however her class was insanely hard. This is absolutely not an Easy A class. She really makes you work for your grades. If you study and give this class your all, however, your grades will reflect. I would recommend Prof Magnarelli to anyone who really loves Spanish.

Very intimidating at first but a very kind and good professor. She can be strict but a really good professor and is willing to help you. Long as you do the assignments and study for assessments the class is not hard.

Professor Magnarelli is a great lady and is willing to help you whenever you need. Expect weekly quizzes and compositions. She is a tough grader and takes off a lot of points for each grammatical error but is willing to explain. Every class is based on the textbooks and material is very straight forward but class can be boring. Participate!!

this is the kind of professor that really knows her stuff. sometimes her quizzes (301) can be a little difficult, but as long as you try and put in the effort you'll do fine. also extremely helpful outside of class. as for lit. classes, she goes into great detail about the text and the classes get really deep and interesting. A lot of work, and she is avery tough grader. You lose 2 participation points per minute if you leave the room (even to go to the bathroom) or if you have your phone out. She means well, but you have to work really hard for a decent grade.

If you have the chance to take Dever, do it. Magnarelli is an extremely nice woman with good intentions, but the class is hard and annoying. Pointless homework every night that she checks but never goes over, and the quizzes and compositions are pretty hard.

I absolutely loved spanish before taking this class. I understand that she wants us to learn the subject, but picking every irregular verb or the most difficult vocabulary word is a bit much. She goes VERY quickly. Her quizzes are almost impossible and she grades her compositions very tough. One thing is she makes herself available for help

She is such an awesome teacher and advisor. Her classes are very productive, and for those who want to learn Spanish, she will definitely take the time to explain! As an advisor, you can ask her anything, and she will help you out.Will miss her for the Spring :/

Profe is awesome. I've had her four times, and each time I have enjoyed her classes. This lady really knows her stuff. She has very high expectations for her students, but if you work hard and put forth the effort, you can do well. Always willing to give extra help and explain things. One of the best Professors at QU.
