This man changed my life. I couldve had a number of 1101/1102 instructors but I lucked out and I got him. I became a chemistry major because of his influence and today I still admire his intellect and insight. I can never truly thank him for the effect hes had on my life. Hell never know it but I will. I sincerely thank you Steve

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE instructor. Knows a lot about chemistry, but can't teach at all. Be prepared to teach yourself. Doesnt respond to emails or questions. If you have a question, he refers you to a page in the textbook. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

He was the worst teacher I ever had. He would never help and when you would ask he would just tell you to look on a page in your textbook. He would never respond to emails. He also told our class that he wasn't going to have office hours. I was in his online class. I have no idea what he is like in a classroom setting. DO NOT TAKE HIM

awful teacher, he knows the material well but doesnt know how to convey it to the students at all, expects incoming freshman and others that are just entering into the chem department to already know what he is talking about on a higher level than should be used in the class.

Dr. Breiner relies to heavily upon the computer. He doesn't teach at all. He said to me, and I quote, "I am not here to teach you...I am here in case you have a question." AVOID This professor at all costs!!! Please don't take his class, this year...the class is all web-base, the class doesn't even meet!, except for midterm and final exams!

BAD TEACHER. Avoid at all costs. He tries to teach the class as though we already know the material, but we dont. Take anyone but him. The online quizzes are a killer, miss one and ur whole sem is thrown out of whack, believe me i know.

he's a**** and doesn't know what he's talking about most of the time. he thinks he's teaching you stuff, but instead, he just rambles on and on about stuff, and you're left in his dust to try and figure out what he just said. his whole online assignment thing sucks a** too. STAY AWAY FROM HIM!

Dr. Breiner is a very cheerful man, and i like his website, allowing his students to post questions or answers when they have them, he just doesn't do a very good job on teaching. To me, you have to truly read the book and the sections that he assigns to you. He will help you out, but not much.

He goes so fast, and half the time you don't have a clue what he's talking about. If you do end up with him, i encourage you to get tutoring and go to the S.I. sessions (They help a lot). Don't get him if you can help it.

This guy tells you from the 1st day of class that he doesn't expect to teach you Chemistry. Get a new teacher if you can!! Nice guy, sucks as a teacher.... he doesn't know how to teach effectively. If you are good at teaching yourself-- go for it!
