Great teacher, great guy. Infectiously passionate about German, music, gardening, and any number of other things. Has been at Oberlin forever and is full of entertaining stories. He might annoy you if you don't like grade curving.

I took a ton of classes with Hr. Huff while at Oberlin and he convinced me to major in German Studies. He's extremely lenient but I still feel like I got a lot out of the classes I took with him. He's very patient and makes class fun and sociable.

He's the funniest best elementary language teacher ever! I love his stories and he makes class really stressless. Nicest man alive. His tests are pretty reasonable too. I wish he were teaching 102 - no such luck.

He's great. Classes are straightforward, except when he digresses a lot to tell random stories about his children and knocking over armoires to bother landlords. He's really wonderful. I highly recommend taking 101 with him.

This guy rocks because he knows his stuff, he's friendly, tells awesome stories, and is an all-around great guy. His only flaw is that he's a devout Mormon and doesn't imbibe alcohol, so Prof Beers was kind of out of the question.

One of the best teachers I've ever had, regardless of subject matter. He really knows his stuff, and makes class fun, and you learn a lot as a result. I've never learnt so much in a 101 course before. I actually wanted to go to my 5 day a week, 9am class!
