LOVEd this guy, definitely would take again. amazing lectures, always very interesting. makes otherwise boring material very fun and interesting. tests are easy if you study the notes. tests taken right from notes.

Was an extremely difficult professor. I felt as though his grading scale was difficult and graded exams and papers very hard. He had very interesting lectures but if you are not a theo major it is slightly difficult.

Comment:

Uses analogies so you really grasp what he's saying. Keep good notes...write down the silly stories they will be useful. Very engaging, never bored. Tests are hard but well worth the studying. Multiple choice can be tricky. Wants students to succeed not only in class but life. Always willing to help. Would have loved to take more classes with him.

Modern Theology - Boyer is a caring teacher with the desire to help his students achieve. He'll offer tons of time for individual help, and he knows his stuff. one of the best teachers at eastern, but his classes are NOT easy, work hard and they will change the way you understand the faith.

Dr. Boyer is great. His tests are mad hard (and the multiple choice questions are really tricky...watch out!), but he presents the material very clearly and is so nice. C is a very common grade in his class, but if you get an A you definitely feel like you earned it!

Good prof., had him at 8 am...that kinda sucked but its worth it! Watch out for the multiple choice questions on his tests, they're slightly tricky and is what makes him hard.

has a hard time giving legitimate credibilty to thoughts and ideas that he has not come up with himself- which stifles the kind of thinking university students should be encouraged to have. a good person and prof other than that flaw.
