Comment:

Really nice lady and had her lecture almost verbatim on the projector and she'd also post the doc on Moodle. Lot's of reading, fairly hard grader and I wasn't super interested in the subject but she's still a good professor. Try your best, participate, go to office hours, ask questions and you'll do fine. Not too many graded assignments.

Comment:

Classes are very heavily discussion based. Susanne is very enthusiastic when students participate (maybe a bit too much at times) but its nice to get an affirmation. She allows for essay rewrites. Susanne was intimidating when I first went to her office hours but eventually I got used to her teaching style and was able to gain a lot from the class

I absolutely DO NOT recommend All About Love if you're not into Asian and religion studies. She focuses a lot on texts by East Asian philosophers. The title of the course completely throws you off. You don't learn about love at all. It's all analytical. I'd say that the class itself is fairly easy, but you do need to participate an awful lot.

Brilliant beyond words, and fairer than words can tell, Professor Mrozik is the radiant light of Tara, sweetening this bleak world. Samsara is less so, as long as she is her, and her sonorous voice can be heard.

Susanne is wonderful! She expects hard work, and challenges her students both academically and psychologically, but she is a dynamo and has taught me to respect academia again. She has more integrity than most professors I've ever met, and truly loves teaching Buddhism

She is an exceptional professor and goes above and beyond in every way. I couldn't possibly say all the great things I have to say about her in just a few words, but be aware that she is a very tough grader. I worked my b off, learned invaluable things for the rest of my life, but did not get an A. I would do it again, though.
