Comment:

Heinzen is the best! He basis his class off of lectures which can get a little boring but everything you need to pass the class are in his powerpoints and he makes them available to you online. He truly cares about his students and as long as you do what he requires you will pass the class. It is not hard at all!

Heinzen is a great Professor and a great guy. His lectures can get a little boring at times but he is passionate about the subject. For psy2300 all of the quizzes are online (15 of them) and both the midterm & final are online. There are also 2 group projects. If you dont show up you will fail but if you do the work its easy.

Heinzen bases his lectures off his powerpoints so make sure you take notes. Chapter quizzes are easy and can be found online but the midterm and final are super hard! Pay attention in class and listen to what he says and you should get a good grade.

Heinzen is amazing and he's genuinely so inspirational. This class isn't hard. Take notes and you'll be fine. So many people said they didn't learn anything and those were the people who spent all of class on their phones. The biggest stressors in this class are the two group projects, but if you actually do your work you'll be fine.

Dr. Heinzen is THE BEST! He is so so so helpful beyond words and will take time out of his day to do the best he can to explain things clearly and put you on the right track. My last 2 semesters were challenging yet insightful and life changing because of his feedback and help. Take him any chance you can!

Dr. Heinzen teaches this class w Dr. Holle. He gives hardhonest feedback on the two group projects during the semester. His lectures can be lengthy but contain good info & you will learn something. ALL quizzes & tests are onlineopen book. The e-book is helpful when searching for quiz answers. Gives students opp. to participate in psy studies.

He's an awesome professor. His class is also with Holle and they're 2 completely different people. This class is not hard at all. 15 quizzes online which you can find the answers to on google (you can take the quizzes as many times as you want)2 presentations which is simple. Final and midterm are based on his notes. Lectures are very interesting

took his class combined with Holle so it wasnt so bad with Heinzen. they alternate weeks teaching. definatle better that way. class is basically an online course reguarding assignments except need to be in class for midterm and final material. not hard if you try your best. group presentations and a group skit at end of semester.

If you're taking Hist Systems, prepare to do a lot of work! 15 quizzes straight from the book (I recommend getting the ebook) The ebook makes it easier to find answers using keywords. Midterm, Final, and two presentations. It's pretty pointless to come to class since all exams are online.

He is a great professor along with Holle but the class isn't as easy as it seems. The online test are difficult even with a textbook. You also have to do 2 mandatory performances with groups of people who will not always cooperate and work together.

Heinzen, although not as bubbly as Holle, teaches a very interesting class. His power points are interesting for those truly interested in psychology. A lot of people compare him and Holle which I feel is unfair because their teaching styles differ. Heinzen is a good guy, stop being lazy.

Took this class with Heinzen and Holle. If you like psychology this class is really interesting! Holle is hilarious. Like a hippie with ADHD, and Heinzen is focused, yet interesting and funny sometimes. Quizzes online every week, all straight from the book. Attendance is important because it is taken every class and absences will ruin your grade.

first glance he seems like awful, but throughout the semester his intentions are phenomenal.had him with Holle. quizzes everyweek midterm and final all online. Tough prof. but you actually learn from him. with Holle those two are a great mix. idk how it would be with just Heinzen :/ I'd be scared. Holle balanced it out.
