Comment:

He is a professor that gives EVERYONE an opportunity to learn the material. He sometimes gives multiple examples which makes some students feel he is repeating himself when really he is not. If you really want to understand college algebra algebraically take him, he will teach you to understand college algebra with and without using a calculator.

He is an older teacher, but a good one! He lectures all math class. I am not strong in math and he almost explains too much where its hard to stay with him. Gives ample amounts of extra credit which helps! If you struggle with algebra take him! I passed with a B+ and i was planning on failing the course!

PLEASE BEWARE!! This is a honest plea for anyone to steer clear. I am not a teacher basher. He is very nice but old, slow, and disorganized. Understandably with old age but unless you are somewhat good at math don't take him you will wind up teaching yourself as he is very confusing and repeats stuff some much that it confuses. Age isnt a virtuou.

lectures the entire time. attendance not required but i recommend going at least for the first 10 minutes to write down h/w and tests. quizzes are usually once a week and a packet of h/w is due every couple weeks. 3 tests and a final. i taught myself more than anything. his notes can be difficult to understand

Mr. Morrison was the best math teacher I have ever had. I gotA in the class. I never made below a B on any test or below an A on any quiz. Most quizzes are take home and he has extra credit assignments due every week. It is most definately worth doing some of them to give yourself a little cushion. Wish he taught every math class!

The nicest and best math teacher I've ever had. He's beyond helpful and makes it easy to understand. His only pet peeves are people who leave early. I seriously wish I needed more math credits so I could take him again - that good of a teacher.

Took him for pre-calc. I really hate math, but he teaches it so well, and goes over subjects over and over again. Plus, he gives you the same type of examples on the test the class before, and he won't trick you by giving you difficult, only seen once before problems. Pre-calc can be a little difficult, but his teaching style makes it way easier.

A rather boring teacher, but does a lot to help people pass the class. He will accept late homework, and otherwise let people walk all over him. We finished almost a month behind, so I wouldn't recommend him for math majors who will need to know math for later classes/work. Bottom line, if you pay attention in class, you'll have an easy A.

Hes very nice, almost to nice. He teaches very slow but it gives everyone a chance to catch on. He assigns alot of homework but he gives a few weeks to do it, and most homework is extra credit so its not mandatory. His quizes are easy, the rest are a little harder but its algebra- its not ment to be easy.

I don't understand how anyone could not get along with this professor. I don't mean to be rude but those who rate him poorly are more than likely the ones who either barely shows up or sleep through hangovers in class. He is an easy going guy, very thorough, and I feel he goes the extra mile to assist the students! He's old & mellow, but great.

This guy is an excellent professor, super sweet, and willing to go the extra mile to help those of you who are not-so-hot at math understand the material. Homework is assigned WAY in advance and the questions on the test are derived straight from it. Attendance not required but come to class so you dont miss anything. Take him, you won't regret it.

He is a pretty decent teacher and he's a nice guy and all. He takes things step by step, so if you're already decent in algebra it can be frustrating. But he's a good teacher if everything is new to you.
