Not the greatest prof. in the dept. Grades hard and expects much from mid-level students. All his grades seem both arbitrary, and hinged on the fact that you attended every lecture. If you are lacking in attendance, he strikes back by grading you more harshly than others in the section. A very vindicative person. First "C" I've ever had...

Professor Herzog completely ripped my first collegiate "paper" apart. I had red marks and profane language pointing out how badly I had hacked my first attempt. I credit him with teaching me how to write coherently and concisely.
