She is a great professor that really cares about her students. There is a discussion every class on the assigned readings. Everyone must lead a discussion, but it is not difficult as long as you read. There two papers and an essay final exam that are focused on the readings. Overall, I really liked the class and would take it again!

Great professor, great class. I've taken several classes with Citeroni and it's an easy A if you read and engage during class discussion. Highly recommend.

Soc320-Food Justice was a fun class. Professor Citeroni has a different student lead each class on what they were assigned to read. Participation is major in her classes! You do read at least two books before midterm and have a test on them. Essay test in this class but graded easily if you knew the material. You must read and participate for A

While the class entails a great deal of reading and is solely discussion based, the readings are very interesting. She brings great insight into the discussions. The people who struggle in class are the ones who fail to read. If you're interested in reading ethnographies that explore gender, then this class is for you. Loved this class!

This class is very time consuming but obviously required for all sociology majors. She's pretty nice until you disagree with her. Class participation is key in order to pass her class.

discussions are solely the responsibility of the students. Students have to read the material then lead the class discussion. Not fun but manageable. Can be difficult if you aren't interested in the material.

Discussion based, not extremely difficult to understand conceptually but volume and depth of material makes this a challenging course. Dr. C is very friendly and fair. Medical sociology is very revealing about the dynamics of health and illness in society.

I was disappointed that her class was entirely discussion based and we rarely talked about the material we were tested on. She is very knowledgeable however her exam format was demanding and many students did not finish, which damaged their class averages.

Let me describe this prof. to save you from the worst academic semester experience. She isn't going to reply to your emails. She is very impatient to go to her office to talk to; So no way to make a better grade. She isn't going to gave you any lecture. She'll make other students to present & explain all the book. She is very conservative & proud.

I had her for Medical Socg & she is a very good prof. The class is slightly intense on the reading load, but it's not too bad. She didn't give enough guidelines for the final paper, but other than that I thought she was a really good professor - we had a lot of thought-provoking discussions in class.

Dr, Citeroni is the best professor in the Soc department. She's extremely smart, very approachable, understanding, personable, and easy to talk to. At the end of the semester, she often goes out for coffee or lunch with her students. She actually CARES about the individuals in her class. She respects her students and doesn't act aloof. Though she i

Her class was way too hard for a 100 level. There is alot of reading. She said that what we talked about in class is what we would be tested on, but it wasnt. The test is basically memorizing the text. She did give lots of extra credit, but only because everyone failed the tests.

Citeroni makes your life so hard by giving way too much work for a 100 level class and she is also a hard grader. If you are not the kind of person who doesn't like to talk a lot, then don't take her....because she can be mean and horrible to you if u don't talk!!!

Citeroni is nice as a person but very hard and demanding as a prof. I sit thru that class so I can fill one of my goal requirements but she gives u so much work and readings that is equivalent to a 300 level class. She is a hard grader too! Take her only if you have no other choice!
