Easy class! He is one brilliant teacher. Be sure to take good lecture notes because he does not follow the book. Also practice writing in C++ since exams, homework, and labs involve programming. He'll repeat lecture material in class. Be sure to practice every day to get an A.

Dr. Li is very clear in his lecture once you get past his accent. If you take clear notes during lecture, you will never need to touch the book. Very good instructor.

Great lecturer, very clear if you listen. I probably failed his class (still taking) but that's because I didn't make it to enough classes or read the book. Advice: go to class, if you do that you probably won't have to touch the book, he's very clear and his test cover what he lectures.

Dr. Li is one of the most helpful C.S. lecturers. He's hard to understand and he's quiet, but his tests and labs are more than fair. He's extremely generous in grading. Even on tests he'll give away answers. You'll become a better programmer in his class.
