This is the second class i have taken with Dolde. He's a generally nice guy, seems very knowledgeable on the content but his teaching method is horrible. He basically reads of the notes from a screen, gets lost in the info, doesn't encourage any participation, grades subjectively and on a curve.

Expert in field, not a good teacher. Reads off notes, not flexible, subjective in grading, wears two shirts. Only midterm and final, if you miss the midterm there is no makeup and only the final is used. Does very little to make the class interesting and allows the class to get off topic too often. Exams are difficult, grades on a curve.

The worst teacher I have had so far at UConn Stamford. He is an extremely nice guy and qualified individual, however an AWFUL teacher. 95% of the class is based on him reading notes to us. There is barely any interaction and he does not stimulate interest at all. Your grade is based on two exams, mid-term and final, nothing else. Only g
