This Professor knows his stuff, no matter the class- ceramics, drawing, SCULPTURE, or potfolio class...he knows his stuff. I have been involved in all these classes with Professor niebauer, and he's always got the answers. Hes the best to talk to if u r thinking about transfering to an art university, he has connections, and will help you succeed.

I took art over the summer..he was great. Such an easy class, didn't care what you did. You didn't have to try very hard,as long as you attempted. Always late... As long as you are in class and do your work you will do fine. He also wonders a lot so don't expect him to help you much.

Doesn't show up on time, dissappears a lot during class. When he IS there and you can corner him, he's very helpful, but it's not cool to have to track him down across campus. The class is fairly straight-forward, but he added a "final" at the last minute. Irritating. Not too hard, still fun.

Shows up at beginning of class and than continually disappears and returns - makes it tough to get help. When he is around he is very helpful and fun. Many projects and very time consuming, he makes sure you learn many techniques, even preparing and making the clay. Definitely had favorites.

This teacher is very evil. He makes it seem like you are doing extremely well and then in turn gives you a grade that you are not expecting to get. Do not take this teacher if you can not stay after class to work on your drawings.

they give power tools to art students and not one has lost a limb. by this sheer fact the man deserves teacher of year.
