He was a great lecture before the pandemic. A little scattered brained and no clear direction as to where the class was going. When the classes were moved to online the class became a lot of work. Essays every week, long with online homework and there was online lab but he dropped it. I wish there was lecture videos, because I've learned nothing.

Comment:

Hes a really fun lecturer and cares about his students. He tries really hard to make everything interesting and does a good job with it. I loved taking his class. Really easy work and doesnt require hours upon hours of studying. Easy to get a good grade.

Comment:

This professor was HARD!Don't expect an A or B unless you put in hours of studying. I loved it only because I am a Nursing major but if it didn't come natural to me then I doubt I would have got an A even though everyone was convinced I would get a C or D on my first try.

His lectures were ok, but he did not test from the notes like he said in the beginning. He avoids students when we tried to ask for help, and makes people feel slightly stupid when asking a question in class. He's good for research, but horrible at teaching. You should also read the chapters in advance to avoid confusion.

He is such a great lecture professor but his tests do not reflect his lecture. I honestly spent more time self studying. I did learn a lot and i enjoyed using the information in my everyday life. We get quizes online that count as a test grade the best 10 out of 18! SUPER EASY! He makes the exams extra hard only b/c the lab is give me(easy) grades!

He is a terrible professor. His teaching methods make the subject impossible. He is more focused on statistics, which he knows nothing about. The required texts are too difficult to understand. Take physiology at another universiry. Easily 90% of you will fail and not learn anything but be handed a C so he doesnt get fired.

Dr. Lutterschmidt's physiology class was a complete waste of time. He was more focused on statistics than anything else; yet he doesn't know anything about stats. The required textbook was incredibly difficult to understand due to how it was worded, there was no glossary, and most of the tests are based off the book. Take Physiology ELSEWHERE!!!

He gives quizes at the end of every chapter (10 total) that count for one out of four test grades--these help if you have attended lectures and completed the assignments at the end of the chapter in advance. I have no complaints about the professor. He isn't easy by any stretch of the imagination but he is good at what he does and is very thorough.

This an average Biology class from the stand point of difficulty. Go to class take good notes and do the sections in the back of the book thta he talks about and you should at least make a B. His test are not always the same style either. The bad thing about lab is buying a $100 lab book and all of the Prelab,and results sections.

I think it is ridiculous if your professor lies to you. I was told I would get a B if i did that on the final. I did, and he gave me a C for the class. As a class we were not ready for the second test, but he would not reschedule. Then he did not even show up to for it!! I was dismissed from his office when asking for help and he was too busy for students. Honestly, an interesting subject became more of a headache. I CANNOT STAND THIS GUY!!!!!
