Alan is an insanely knowledgeable man, but he has a hard time keeping it clear and on a level that the students can understand. I was lost on day one. Almost like I missed a required course. Hell of a guy, but you better be ready to google some stuff, because he is like a mix between Ben Stein and the professor from The Simpsons.

Comment:

Very boring lectures that the class could not follow. Never gave feedback on were students were standing as far as their grades. I learned way more on my own than I did in the class lectures. Would recommend taking a different teacher.

There was NOTHING helpful about the course material or Mr. Reinarz at all. I am not rating the class, but the professor, but the class was garbage. Just an awful class. Alan did NOT know what was going on throughout the class, and often had to go back to the course writer to ask for clarification. His presentation was useless and so was the lecture

This guy knows his stuff !! Great teacher to really get the full information for each section in book. He may lecture quite a bit but his completeness makes up for it.

Took assembler I & II from him. He is extremely knowledgeable about the subject, but has a hard time teaching at a level the students can understand. He is very flexible in his grading and accepting late assignments. He will always helpif you ask him.
