Rude comments when asking questions In class. Talked about nude works 60% of the time. Only focused on paintings and architecture, questions on music and literature were brushed aside. Do not expect an extension on an assignment when unavoidable issues come up. Had to fact check her multiple times, and when you call her out on it she ignores you.

Dr Waters is an amazing woman. It will benefit you to participate as much as possible in her classes. You may not have the words to say but do your best to be a part of the conversation and not a sponge. An A isn't hard to obtain if you actually care.

Shes a great teacher and cares a lot about the subject matter she teaches in class and you can see this through her lectures, although they are boring. She can make rude or snippy comments if you ask her to clarify an assignment but other that she is great. If do the assignments the way she wants then you will have no problem getting a 100.

Dr. Waters has been teaching for a long time and knows what works. If you put in the effort and read ahead, you can contribute in class and make things go much easier and faster. Enjoy the culture. Hint: Elaborate your essays. She likes paragraphs to have at least six sentences.

Professor Waters is a fine teacher and I strongly feel that she taught me a lot during this course. She was present and easily accessible all semester. She starts the year tough but softens up about half way through. prepare to write and do your homework.

Dr. Waters is very enthusiastic about her lectures, she's very passionate about everything she teachers, which I love. However, she can be rude, sarcastic, and a little egoistic. She likes to make snippy comments when you miss a class, she doesn't like when you don't understand something, and don't even think of looking at your phone for the time.

Enthusiasm and a passion for art history definitely made me more willing to try. Dr. Waters is organized and ensures clarity in communication. The self-study class was a glimpse to what she was capable of. Would definitely recommend and I'm sure I'll take another class with her.

I took Dr. Waters three semesters in a row and learned about the history of Art from cave paintings to photography. She has a simple, good-spirited nature and much enthusiasm. As an art major there were times when she was teaching that I'd go from taking notes to just being in awe. If you give her a chance, you won't regret it.

Loved her Humanities class! If you put forth the effort on assignments, you'll get 100 for sure on them. She is really nice and makes the class very easy. Lectures and reviews for tests. I only took one in class test, other 3 were take home and 2 papers. She's very understanding and will work with you. Just come to class and participate.

She assigns way too much work than there needs to be. She is very rude if you ask her a question about an assignment that she has gone over. I feel like a teacher should have an open ear and help the student understand an assignment rather than get angry at them for not understanding it.

I honestly did not like Mrs Waters at all. Her class was easy, but it was so boring and I swear she made up at least ten words this semester. Plus, her favorite paintings were nudes and she talked about them too much. Just BLEH

She is very nice and very enthusiastic about the subject matter. She encourages class discussion and prides herself on her flexibility. In return all she asks is that you take the class seriously and meet the reasonable deadlines she sets. Deadlines and requirements are stated very clearly and she’s happy to confirm if necessary.

Loved this subject & started out loving her. However, I was ridiculed by her in class for asking questions about assignments, that she took as a personal affront. I am not confrontational and am an "A" student, but just wanted to understand correctly. She was just really defensive. A student should never have to apologize for asking questions...

Ms. Waters is an amazing teacher with so much passion for the arts it makes you want to learn. I really could have cared less about humanities prior to taking her class, but now I have a genuine interest thanks to Ms. Waters. She is a very kind, intelligent lady always willing to help. I highly recommend her class

VERY into her subject and it shows through her teaching, she absolutley loves it and puts her students first in everything she does! almost every test is open note and she tells you what is going to be on them. very little homework but there is 2 papers to write, but she helps any way she can! very easy to talk to! i loved her!
