She's very adamant about letting you know that if you dont care, neither does she. She's an excellent professor and is easy to work with if you're doing your work and really putting in an effort. The class is a breeze if you take the time to do assignments (which isn't a lot). Homework doesn't count but is encouraged and she goes over it in class.

Great teacher. Class was easy probably because I'm so good at math and remembered how to do things from high school. Only 4 tests and optional final. Textbook optional if you want to practice more. Spends about 30 minutes in the beginning going over homework problems.

She is a great person, but she is not an easy teacher. She will help you if you ask. If you don't take her class seriously, she will not help you. I had to get a tutor, I did homework, and I still had some much trouble in her class. Her tests are so hard. I have to retake this class with another Professor because I need a higher grade to move on.

DO NOT TAKE if you struggle with math, she gives you almost no help and directs you to take tutoring. You will fail if your absent even though notes are posted online. The notes posted online are a mess no clear way of explanation if you miss a class. She's a good person, just the way she teaches is tough and she rarely gives help.

Failed her class. Her hw are way too long and the quizzes are hard to do. She goes too fast. If you struggle with math, don't take her. Now I'll retake this class with another proffesor.

She acted like people who asked questions were stupid in front of the class, which lead to me never asking questions. Whole class depended on 5 hard tests. If you already struggle with math... do NOT take!!!

If you do not test well, DO NOT TAKE THIS PROFESSOR. She bases your final grade off of ONLY the 5 tests you take that semester and your homework. If you do not test well, you are not going to pass the class. When I did ask for her help she confused me more, and gave us the homework assignments in the syllabus but didn't stick to those homework's!

If you want a professor who reminds you of a mediocre high school math teacher you're in luck. Don't bother asking her for any help because it's more or less survival of the fittest. If you try asking questions prepare to be rudely dismissed ad she moves on. I feel sorry for anyone who's had to endure her class and for future unsuspecting students.

Math is my toughest subject! Professor Nienstedt made it so much easer. She explains well, posts all of the lecture notes online and gives homework quizzes that really help your grade and grasp of the information. She also gives note packets so you never have to take notes in her class. She is well organized and very helpful. Loved her!!

I took Stat 101 with her two years ago and had a great experience. I've taken 3 higher level stat classes since then and must say she is by far the best math prof i've ever had. I've never been good at math but Prof Neinstedt changed that, at least in Stat. HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend!

Awful teacher. she doesnt explain things clearly and readily moves on regaurdless. Also she didnt like me and the other kid in class who had already taken a higher level math and made that clear from day one. i hated her and dropped the course.

She is very organized. All of your work for the whole semester is given in hte first class. She isn't helpful to students who can't keep up. It doesn't seem like she cares and just moves on. But she lets you use a sheet of notes for the test.

She is very knowledgeable in her math skills but lacks the ability to teach it clearly. If you don't understand it, she still moves on to the next thing and you fall way behind. If you have a lot of math in your past you will be fine, if not you better get a tutor. She does give you all your work in advance. Nice lady, but I need more explanations.

Extremely helpful professor. She has handout notes and saves everything to Web CT so you can review later or if you miss class. Has take home quizzes that aren't that difficult which helps your grade. I would highly recommend her. She really wants you to do well and succeed!

Took this class because I didn't know what else to take. She posts her lectures on WebCT and prints all of her lecture notes out (very helpful) I never did my homework or opened the textbook and got a B. There are unit projects (easy) and quizzes are takehome. Tests are easy but you are allowed 1 page of notes.

Mrs. Neinstedt is a very nice teacher but she has pleanty of material which is also good. If you put in lots of time into her class you should deff do great Im actully takeing her this semester and hopeing for an B or C depending on my next exams.
