You have 4 50-question multiple choice tests all semester, and even though they're pretty hard tests, if you go to each class, he gives in-class extra credit assignments, and you can get like 9 points extra credit BEFORE each test (i.e. 41/50 becomes a 50/50) -- very interesting prof and very nice, approachable, pretty funny -- highly recommended

4 mc tests, no final, 1 short paper that isn't graded. show up for class and occasionally get extra credit. i thought his tests were tough, but the extra credit usually helps balance it out for a lot of people. whatever you do, DON'T TAKE WINN!!
