Comment:

Professor Walker is a fantastic professor. His course is challenging, but can be an easy A if you work hard, as you should in any college courses. He will give you the grade deserved. He is very funny and makes funny jokes. The atmosphere is very laid back and comfortable. I highly recommend him for HIST141. He will not dissapoint!

Comment:

Dr. Walker is one of the most interesting professors I've ever had. I loved his lectures. 4 papers, 2 research, 2 movie reviews. He's very clear about what he expects of you and as long as you show up to class and take notes on what he says is important, you will get an A. Wouldn't recommend this class if you hate writing. I loved the class.

He will request 2 big papers some movie reviews for extra points, he will say exactly what he wants on those papers, follow his instructions, show up and you will get an easy A. If you don't show up you will feel lost in his class. Simple :D

His lectures are never boring and they actually made me like learning about history. His class isn't mandatory but it sure helps when writing the 15 page paper. (Take advantage of him reading your rough drafts) It's nice though because there's no final in this class. Didn't think I'd like his class but loved it!

Theres two papers one is 7 and the other is 15 pages. He gives you a lot of time to get them done though. Then there are two movie review papers that are only about 2 pages each. And that is all there is for grades in the grade book

He lectures and wants you to write what he has on the screen down (extra credit), he loves Elvis and makes it seem like he is a hard grader, but I didn't think so. One 9p paper, one 15p paper, and two movie reviews. He really cares about your bibliographies on the papers but besides that is easy. Show effort and you'll be fine.

Don't let him scare you the first day! He is a amazing professor he takes time for any questions you have no matter how insignificant. His papers are no joke though. Like really start them when he assigns them. He gives you back your grades in a timely matter and grades unbiasedly.

Prof Walker is amazing. He gives 4 papers. The first is about Andrew Jackson and is 7 pages long. Then you write a short 4 paragraph movie review. The next paper is 15 pages and is about the civil war. The last assignment is another movie review (4 paragraphs). So 2 papers and 2 movie reviews. Papers are easy to write. Thats it! Great Military Guy!

We wrote 4 papers 2 of which were movie reviews. Amazing lectures but take notes. They might be used if you need help raising your grade. The class was interesting and I will definetly take another of his classes of the opportunity arises.

My first rating had to be for Professor Walker, he truly is an amazing person and teacher that I feel extremely lucky to have had this semester. Go to class, listen to his hilarious and insightful lectures, and be prepared to right some papers. 4 papers throughout the course, and you better not procrastinate! If you enjoy history, take Walker!!

Comment:

Overall an excellent teacher. Swears often and is very politically incorrect, but his lectures are entertaining and thorough, and his papers are long but pretty easy to write. Very straightforward and easy to talk to. Very responsive online. His personality isn't for everyone but it is a truly enjoyable class.

Take Prof. Walker for HIST class! He is amazing! 4 papers to write. First 7 pages, 2nd paper 15 pages and last two were 2 pages documentary feedback papers. Attendance isn't mandatory but do show up because the class is fun! Take him! He is GREAT!

Alright listen. This guy is amazing as a professor. There are absolutely no tests, quizzes nothing, but he has four papers through the entire course and that's it. That's all you do. 2 movie reviews, 2 big papers. One was 15 pages and the other is 8. I procrastinated and it took me 30 hours to complete the 15 pager DON'T PROCRASTINATE & you'll pass

Go To Lecture! Thats the best part of the class. Also only 4 assignments all semester. Two movie review questions, and two papers. Dont slack on them! If you use the time hes gives you their easy, but if you wait their murder. Also hes a very easy grader but the content has to be there.

Great Professor! Two big papers one 7 page paper and the other is 15 pages. And two small 4 paragraph movie reviews that we watched during class. My best advice is to take his class and when he gives you the instructions for the papers start on them right away. Procrastination didn't help me at all but I did end up finishing the papers.

One of my favorite professors ever! He makes the lectures really enjoyable. You have two big essays, but you can send it to him via email or hand him a hard copy of your rough drafts. He'll give you feedback on what you need to fix for your essay. I really enjoyed having him as my professor, and I would definitely take him again.
