DJ is a loving inspiring man who is more knowledgeable then most professors in his field. If you take the time to get to know him and ask questions, he stops just being a professor and becomes a mentor and lifelong friend.

Dr. Robbins did more than teach me about the Bible and the life of Christ--he truly modeled what it looks like to love and pursue God fully. One of the biggest moments of my life happened in his class because of his desire to create space for prayer, laughter, and tears. I cannot recommend him enough. He also WROTE THE TEXTBOOK WE USED aka genius!

Dr. Robbins is my fav proff at APU and 1 of my fav people. He genuinely cares about his students and wants them to learn the material that he is so passionate about. Dr. Robbins loves Jesus and that love truly shines through to his students through his work. You do need to read the syllabus and actually do the work (surprise- we are in college).

Michael Robbins was one of my favorite professors at APU. He has a deep knowledge of Greek and the Bible. What makes him really standout is that he cares about his students, and wants them to grow closer to God. He challenges us to think harder. If you want an easy A, he isn't the man for you. If you want your life to change, he's your guy.

Prof Robbins is by far one of the most impactful teachers I have ever had the privilege of taking. This class is one of those classes that can change your life. For my classmates and myself - we all respected Prof Robbins deeply and followed his guidelines. He is the most approachable, nonjudgmental man and is deeply loved by many students!

Definitely do not take this professor if you just need to take a bible class. He is a hard and rude grader. The worst part is he put's nothing up on Sakai, so you have no idea what your grade is! Truly regret taking him.

I regret taking this class. The professor may be very knowledgable, but there are a lot of negative things about him. He does not specify what he wants on the assignments. He grades extremely hard and inconsistently. He doesn't respect others' opinions if they are different from his. I am a straight A student, but his class is impossible.

I sent a polite email asking him to clarify unclear deadlines in the syllabus and his reply was rude and condescending, and neglected to answer my question. All papers are single spaced, 11 pt. font. I'm afraid to ask him questions about anything at this point. I was stoked to take this class but now I DREAD it. This was not worth it for me.

Incredibly smart man. Knows this subject in and out-- you learn just by being around him. Really a great academic role model. You get out of this class what you put in to it-- if you don't do what he says and really put in the effort, you won't benefit. This is the kind of class you do real learning in, not just memorization and regurgitation.

I had him for Christian Classics and now have him for Classical Greek on main campus. He is the sweetest, most genuine man you will ever meet. His mind can kind of go all over the place, and he is slow to speak, but it is because he thinks of everything he wants to say carefully. If you learn nothing from his class, you will learn from him as a man

DJ is one of the best professors that I have had at APU. I took Christian Classics at High Sierra. The workload was heavy, but so worth it. He is always willing to engage you outside of class and challenges you in a non-threatening way. I gained a lot of peace even though the topics were very intense. I definitely recommend him! He's so caring!

One of the best professors you will ever take. Dr.Robbins is brilliant, has so much knowledge to share, and truly cares about all of his students. You won't get an easy A, but take a class from him if you are interested in learning from a wonderful professor.

Michael Robbins is a dear sweet heart. Sometimes he may lose the class' interest, but he is a brilliant man. If you can get to know him, he will rock your world. He will meet with you outside of class, but he will not make the first move. He is my friend and companion :) He will stick by my side through thick and thin. NOw he teaches me Greek!

Annoying teacher. some work involved in the class. he can randomly get mad at you. he seems to be of in his own little world. doesnt seem to care about students. never addresses them by a name and he has never ever even asked us our names. dont take him unless its between him and a really hard class.

Dr. Robbins is brilliant. A wonderful source of information. If you do not work, you will not like him, nor will you do well. Period. Stop trying to get easy A's at School, and actually use that 25,000$ a year for something good.

I really liked the class when I was in it. However, after the class, you will find that he does not reward you for your hard work. I got A's on every single assignment and I still got a B+ in the class. Don't take him if you want an A in this easy class. I truly feel robbed.

Robbins is quite intelligent. Sometimes he can be curt with his students, but simply because he does not have much of a personality. Attendance is required. Three papers are worth roughly 50% of the total grade. Just follow the syllibus and you'll be fine.
